Huddlestone - kept things ticking over, calmness, solid tackles
Jelavic - good finish, kept running the line when Abel went off
Robertson - excellent whip on his crosses one of which was an assist

One name I haven't seen mentioned yet is Livermore. I thought he answered a lot of his critics this week (including me) by keeping things moving and offering plenty of energy from the middle.

That ball for Jelas goal was outstanding too.

Can't decide for third betweenDawson,Elmo and Robertson.

Really pleased Jelavic got his goal, works his socks for the team.

Don't know how Elmo got MOM today - not saying he had a bad game, but others were better IMO

I thought he was very poor for 30 minutes of the first half, when he stayed moving and making a run the whole team looked better but didn't do enough of it for me.

    My MOM are:

    Dawson
    Robertson
    Chester

I thought we looked so much calmer at the back today whether that was the system change alone or the influence of Chester. Was great to see Brucey mention Chester in his interview to. Dawson was an absolute rock in the middle of the back three, and Robertson's crossing is improving some really good balls today.

Special mentions to Harper for keeping us ahead with a fantastic save at 1-0, Elmo who was his usual busy self and put in some great crosses, Thudd who brings a calming unruffled influence to the game just when it's needed, Jake for the assist, superb through ball, Chezzy for bringing some sanity back to our defensive line, Dawson & Davies for their no nonsense defending, the three of them looked a solid unit today, Rosie for his clearance on the line. Ironically our most expensive player was the only one that wasn't really deserving of a special mention today, however I'm pretty certain that he'll make up for that, and then some.

We looked solid. Not a great performance but we still won at a canter. That's not a bad sign.

He was absolute **** until he finally did what he's supposed to do and won the ball off them, drove forward and sent a pass on to our forward. He then continued his run. Gave him a new lease of life afterwards. But no before that he was ****, really really ****.

I thought he was largely anonymous until that excellent pass for Jelly to put the game away. I think we need one more attacking creative player in the CMF three. Either Brady or Ramirez/Ben Arfa, if not fit yet, later in the game. Thudd had a very good game today and Diame was again outstanding both in attack and defensively. Livermore just looks superfluous to me.

Good team effort and we looked stronger defensively. Thought Jake had a good second half; much like what we saw last season.

    Jelavic

Special mention for Robertson who made up for a lot of naivite in his play with a great cross and work-rate, he was helped by some of the senior pros like Diame who had a word with him
