this is earth shattering in the world of F1.

Clearly that means Alonso to McLaren, the door at Red Bull is shut with Kvyatt going there.

So where does that leave Button and KMag? one of them to Lotus?

I'm convinced that button has something lined up. He seemed very sure when asked if he'd be seen at suzuka next season.

Horner just said "obviously Ferrari made him a very attractive offer" #F1 Vettel

The only good thing about this is that Sainz Jr will presumably get the vacant Toro Rosso seat.

    W. T. F?!?!

After all of last year's shenanigans this was supposed to be a 'nothing year' as far as silly season is concerned! Wish Vettel luck at McFerarren - all though god knows why he'd go there anyway, but he's earned some respect from me for the way he's handled things this year. Just wish he'd stuck around to give Dan a good fight.

Amazing to think that Kvyat, a guy that wasn't even in the frame for an F1 drive last year has just landed himself a RBR seat.

Dan the man usurping the guy who had the best car for four years and having a dummy as a teammate is now being banished to a underperforming Ferrari.

Wow, this is a shock. Congratulations to Kvyat though.

Has it actually been confirmed that Ferrari is Vettel's destination, for all we know, McLaren may have been serious with the idea of Alonso AND Vettel, rather than one of the other.

So this is the phanphon storm. If Kmag gets the boot, F1 is sick.

Is it such a shock? It's been coming for a while. It was really inevitable.

Where is Silver? I'd love to see his point of view on this here.

Lol.... Well, I think it's a good thing. A new Ferrari, a fast driver... Good on him for taking up the challenge. Is Ross confirmed yet?

So where does this leave Kimi? Or is he happy with a payoff from Ferrari to pack his bags and leave?

I wonder whether JEV will now get a reprieve at Torro Rosso.

Anyway, this will spice things up nicely for 2015.

Kimi is well past it imo. I'm not sure why Ferrari ever thought it might be a good idea to bring him back after the massive payoff. :(

I'd assume that Sainz will get the empty Toro Rosso seat next to Verstappen. That's a very green lineup.
