I don't know the answer but I'm sure some one does ! When was the last competitive game at the KC when Hull City played towards the South Stand in the first half ? Video/youtube evidence will be needed......
I recall two seasons ago in the championship, not sure the team so it doesn't really help, haha. But I'm pretty sure that we have only ever lost once when we have started opposite ends.
We've definitely played that way 2 or 3 times in the last 4 or 5 years. Not sure how it happens though as I understood it was chosen by coin toss. Toss winner chooses kickoff, loser chooses ends or something.
Normally the other way round. The winner chooses ends. It seems for the most part of the last 3-4 seasons, we've chosen to play to the South Stand second half and the away team's preference is to kick to their fans second half. In other words, the coin toss has been largely pointless.....
