    Wonga finally capitulated to pressure and written off £220m of debt.
    They were going to have to do it at some point.
    Probably a minor blip in the bigger picture for them.

    They could have bought Newcastle United with that. Ideal club owners. Would never need to use the transfer market again. Just send 5 players out on short term loan and get 8 back at the end of the month.

    Ashley's a crafty bastard, he borrows £220 million from Wonga, they don't do a proper credit cheque and then have to write it off.....<laugh>

    If I ever discovered I had a terminal illness one of the first things I would do would be to apply to all of these vile companies for the largest loan I could get, and completely lie on the application form. If they don't do the correct checks and then go ahead to people who can't pay back then they deserve all they get.
