Unbelievable Terry. If Lee Cattermole had done that then the press would slate the England manager and repeatedly bring it up to remind people of it! I'm wondering if Adrian Durham from Talksport is talking to Hodgson? He called Colback a "Ginger Pirlo" on talkshite and the other day he was comparing Shelvey to Gerrard and going on about how good he is. And thee 2 players managed to get into the England squad!
From what I hear he's had a decent season has peanut head, but it's still depressing to see him in the side. I think me and the other people who don't expect Woy to ever do anything right are gonna need a bigger boat.
As a neutral, I think you always want to see your players rewarded for their graft on the pitch. It's understandable that you consider him as worthy as any other player on that list of lads RH has picked, especially given that some of them are being offered chances for the first time, such as Colback and Delph in the previous game. If I was manager and I was opting for a DM, and I had to look at younger players for the long term, I'd be looking at him for sure. It's fair to say, I doubt Hodgson thinks about this, I think he just picks 23 players or whatever it is, then comes up with the ****test thing he can possibly do with 11 of them and passes it off as 'developing a new England side'.
We regularly field 6 English players on the pitch at the same time, Yet Woy has only attended our games once in his whole time in the Job. It's not about players getting called up, evidence that there's some kind of active consideration regarding our players is what I want. Woy will do the Chelsea-Citih fixture every time, even if only two Englishman feature in the whole game.
I'm done with England and the fa for that matter I hold them in the same contempt as politicians basically I don't care because their all bullshitters
Same thing happened with Cappelo, only checked on Bent twice when he was the top scoring Englishman and both times it was when Sunderland played in London. Don't think he ever came to Sunderland during his reign
Just listened to tony gale on ssn.when asked the question why was catts and huddlestone not selected for the squad. His reply was carrick is capable of doing the job as is huddlestone,he just never mentioned catts in his replies. Ignored the point
Keeping Catts out of the England squad is good news, if you ask me. Let everyone think he's a crap, violent, clogger. Keeps them from finding out different and sniffing around come January. He deserves better, of course, but the national side mean nowt to me these days and it's better for Sunderland this way.
Mate, I'll definitely convert to Islam before I change my football allegiance! I've already said anyhow, I'm gonna quickly convert and give my last few breaths to Allan, before I die brother Joe, just in case the 40 virgins thing is true. I'll go full Jihadi if they chuck a few slags in with the virgins.
I don't think it means much to the players tbh ....... caps are flung around like a riot at a cattle market
