We should see fuel costs coming down at the pumps if this trend continues. We might see even lower inflation which could mean interest rate rises on the back burner for an even longer period...
Gas prices have dropped a fair bit here in Ohio. Last I bought was $3.10 a gallon less than £2.00!! Oil Is priced in dollars so as the pound is doing okay against the dollar that should help keep petrol prices low. Back to England for the winter so hope prices stay low.
Petrol here is about £1.28 litre There are 4.54 litres to the gallon so that's a whooping £ 5.81 gallon or about $9.35 Yeeeeeeee-hah !!!
We should gradually move away from using fossil fuels and invest in nuclear and geothermal energy. Only use oil for vehicles until we start producing electric cars en masse.
as my mortgage is still sat at 0.5% I'm quite happy to see this rate remain for a lot longer. The £150 i overpay each month has saved me about 4 years in duration already.
