If he was available, Jakupovic every time. Last time out against Manchester Utd he was great and he didn't disappoint against Spurs either. I'd give him the nod, if only because the thought of Harper against the likes of Gayle and Campbell gives me an uneasy feeling.
you need Hermann Hreidarsson he's been relegated with 4 different clubs, plus Marcus Bent, now 36 out of retirement (also 4 relegations), sack Bruce install Shearer or Dowie and Bob's your uncle (actually Brian's my uncle)
So who do you think it will be? I base my claim on the fact we've had probably the easiest run of fixtures of anyone since the start of the season and we've got 1 win.
win on Saturday and we shoot up the league ,far too early to say its a must win game, plus throw in the fact there been some unexpected results. Stoke at Man city, Wba at spurs, Leicester at home to Man utd which paints a bit of a false picture of the league , if things are not gelling after 10/12 games then I would start to get concerned.
Now, now, Chinny. Sit at your desk and write out 50 times "I must think positive"! We have also been a little unlucky and could well have had another 4 points which would have had us mixing it with the big boys.
He didn't say "easy". He said "easiest". Easi-EST... I.e. easi-ER than everyone else... Of which I'd be inclined to agree (with the exception of Man Utd...)
I think SB will give Jake a bit more time to get his form back and definitely don't see him making way for Ramirez against Palace, as we will need battlers in midfield against a Warnock team.
He's by far our best keeper, so I'm sure they'll get him back in as soon as they can. Apparently he was carrying this injury in the Man City game, which might explain why he wasn't quite as sprightly as normal.
No such thing as apart from the top 6 anyone can beat anyone generally and especially at the start of the season.
"The 32-year-old has been troubled by a shoulder injury in recent weeks and scans have revealed damage that requires a spell of rest." Sounds like Bruce is dropping McGregor due to bad form, but doesn't want a negative focus on him. With 2 fit replacement goalies Bruce wouldn't have risked him if he was injured.
"Apart from the top 6, anyone can beat anyone"... Soooo, if you played less teams from the top 6 at the start of the season than another team, your opening run of fixtures would be "easier"?
Precisely. There is a huge difference between saying easy - which i didnt - and easiest - which i did.
After nearly 2.5 years in charge we know SB doesn't give disinformation - he says it as it is. So, McGregor will be injured and will probably pull out of the Scotland squad. Hopefully 2 weeks rest and he'll be fit to face Arsenal on the 18th Oct. No hidden agenda.
