Went to the game. Missed the first goal as got there late but the second was nicely worked by Dixon and Aimson. I thought we were completely dominant in the first half and played some good possession football. I liked the look of Lenihan, Clark and Jaraldo Martin. Second half was more evenly matched but even then don't think Jakupovic had much to do. Chalobah and Keane offered little. Oh and the pies were excellent!
Aluko scoring after 9 seconds will grab some headlines, but I want to know how he played the rest of the game. Probably his usual running into people, presumeably on the assumption they will move out of his way , and having some opportunities to shoot and deciding to do a pass to someone who is covered.
