I know nothing about him, but the Daily Star seem to think we have loaned 21 year old Peter Gulacsi from Liverpool. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/198752/Liverpool-loan-Peter-Gulacsi/? Anyone know any of the Scouse reserves? Does this change anyone's opinion of Ayala coming in?
I hate when they have hard names to spell But he sounds promising http://lfcfooty.forumotion.com/t981-the-official-peter-gulacsi-thread
Glad I'm up at 1am to hear this breaking news! Wonder if he will be number 1, wouldn't mind us getting a permanent goalie in also.
It's hard to tell, some clubs are reluctant to loan unless the outgoing player is guaranteed first team football, whereas others are pleased just to see the player getting the experience of being in the matchday squad.
He's been at Liverpool since 2007, and not looked like making the team... I wonder if this could be with a view to a permanent..?
I do believe I called this one =) Unless the mirror got it from my post, in which case, screw them Great addition!
please log in to view this image He's used to playing in Amber at least. I just hope he's the kind of keeper who'll take some responsibility in games. In that photo it looks like he doesn't know whether to blame the Sunshine, the Moonlight or the Boogie. Either that or he's trying to use the force to get them a goal.
I'd love to see Ayala back but a keeper is the priority as we have Hobbs and Chester, so if Ayala doesn't come off this is a top deal from Liverpool
The Fail has a non-story..... http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-12860244-detail/story.html
He said: "It is tied up to a signing, but I've no comment to make about the player involved." Surely this is Ayala. Why would we ask for a friendly for a loan goalie?
First Loan Spell was @ Hereford and debut v TWS, from a hereford fan "Within his first ninety minutes at Hereford, he had answered those doubts as a penalty save and a series of top class stops ensured that his new side beat Leeds." Such performances confirm Gulacsi’s reputation – he was chosen as the best goalkeeper at last summer’s European Under 19 championships – and could ensure that Diego Cavallieri’s stay at Anfield as back-up keeper might be short lived. http://www.aliverpoolthing.com/2009/04/lad-can-play-peter-gulacsi.html
I don't know anything about him (to be honest never heard of him at all) it's a tricky one we need a new keeper but I would love to see Ayala back but it may mean Chester been dropped if it is Ayala. And from what AP said it is just the one so can't hope for them both
Think we all assume he will be first choice? I really do not want a loanee as our first choice keeper. We have to sign a permanent keeper quickly.
Until there is a real quote from someone at the club we don't know we have signed a keeper. It could easily be tied in to the friendly though, we might be paying a loan fee and we agreed a fee closer to what they wanted in exchange for a friendly as well as the player. Either that or we have given them Bullard in exchange for a friendly! That is a deal I would take!
