I think fatty mouthing off the other day on the piss has damaged any chance of a quick exit as he will want to save face.
Two more hammerings and he will have the rope he needs.

Just one more surely? I mean Swansea will be ruthless. If we get beat 3-0 there he has to be sacked. This is a dangerous game Ashley is playing because the longer we keep Pardew the more chance we have of being relegated. No more time, excuses, etc Just please sack the chancing, bottom-feeding ****.

We have the worst run of games in December. Holding on for another month in the hope of Pardew somehow turning it around is asking for trouble. We have three games in October - Swansea, Leicester and Spurs. All tough matches at the best of times. On our current run it is conceivable that we could go into November without a league win. Surely Ashley cannot be that dense.

Just read an article in the Chron about how our worst start to a PL season was 1 point from 7, under Gullit (5 matches), Clarke (1) then SBR (1) in 1999. Obviously whether the fact the manager was sacked, which then inspired an 8-0 thumping of Sheff Wed in match 8, is lost on Ashley is open to debate.

There's obviously no SBR available to us anymore. I don't know who could even begin to fill that mantle, especially under Ashley. Either way, I am literally at a complete loss as to why or how Pardew is still in charge. There's the odd vague suggestion here and there in the media, but really no-one has a fcking clue.

Ashley has a chance at a tiny sliver of redemption and steadfastly refuses to take it, I just don't fcking understand it anymore. Swansea will be the first match in a long time I don't bother watching. I'll check, amused, as the BBC report text scrolls through goal after goal for the Welsh, but I won't be bothered. I won't be checking Twitter in the vague hope Pardew is sacked, I won't worry about where we sit in the league, or what was said in post-match interviews. It's a bit sad, really, to seem so defeatist but life's not worth wasting on Mike Ashley's club. It isn't really even Newcastle anymore.

We look nailed on anyway, regardless who comes in, our players are also ****e. We have to hope for an uplifting honeymoon period doing just enough to keep us in touch until January.

If we don't buy some players with PL knowledge come January, we are ****ing doomed. This lot just don't have the cojones for a fight.

How big must Pardews ego be? After the worst stats since the start of the year he still thinks he is the man for the job!!! He will never resign cos he wants his payout. He must think there is no way he walking out and losing his payoff after putting up with Ashleys bollocks for years. Ashley will not sack him cos he doesnt want to pay him off. So us fans just sit here and watch our club slowly descend into the **** before our eyes. A ****ing tragedy!!!

Very few managers would walk out on the payout in this day and age. You might be out of work for the forseeable. He has been there once before. Look at Moyes he took full benefit even though it was clear he wasn't up to the task. There is only one man to aim your ire at, Mike Ashley. He is the one with the power to make a change. I think there may be something in this game of brinkmanship i.e. Pardew doesn't wanna quit (rightly so really), Mike doesn't wanna pay. Ashley appointed the ****er, he gave him the 8 year contract, he has to carry the can.

I wish people would stop with all this "if he had any honour he'd quit" malarkey. There is not a single person saying this stuff who would walk away from a similar pay day.

I'm starting a whip round to pay him off. Here's a starter for £5.

Pardew is on one of the lowest salaries in the PL, £800,000, the 8 year contract is worth £6.4 million in total, Wenger is on £6.6million a year, Moyes was on £5 million at Man Ure, Fat Sam gets £2.2 million at West Ham and so on, I personaly don't blame him for digging in as one of the key criteria for Ashley is a manager who will stand up and be a target, Pardew does this week in week out and deflects a lot of **** for Ashley.

The beelin thing. The squad is good enough to get the wins required to stay up. As long as that happens Ashley will never sack.

But there has to be a cut off.
Remember when we went down with Owen, Nolan, Barton, Oba, Colo, Jose, Duff, Milner....? Ashley will have thought the same back then but then we dropped.
It's not about the players for me, it's about the 11 on the pitch playing as a team.
Less 'fashionable' teams like Palace, Stoke, Wigan et al over the years have proven that strong teams, not necessarily filled with superstars can compete in the PL.
I use the example of SBR's first game.... Won 8-0... shearer got 5.... All he did was take his predecessors team and organise them differently.

Oh yes I agree, with our players we could compete much higher. But as long as we are within touching distance of the pack, Pardew will have until at least well into February, as Ashley will just give him a chunk of cash to spend in January to keep us up. like 2 years ago. If we still keep losing after that, then maybe Pardew will get the bullet, but I see us spending most of the season hovering 14th/15th.

Mate he won't have till February. If we stick with him that long we will be cut off by Christmas. If we lose to Swansea, he needs to be ****ed off to a burning sodom. If he is given until the Leicester game and manages somehow to find a victory - we will still lose the next three (spurs away, Man City in the LC and Liverpool at home) and he won't be able to survive that. He will be gone at the latest by the end of October but tbh I don't even think he will make it that long.
