Yes, well worth finishing the series. It was better than the film (Serenity). That being said, I actually enjoyed the part with the pilot (Pirate Steve from Dodgeball!) messing around with toy dinosaurs; it was silly. <ok>

Watched the first episode of Gotham, good stuff nice and dark as it should be. This could be good.

Also watched The Homesman which was pretty good if you like a slow western.

I've got through all of This Is England, so the film and 86 & 88.

Easily the greatest TV programme to ever be broadcast in the UK, the script, the acting, the cinematography all superb. If you haven't seen this do yourself a favour and get through the lot of them asap possible before the final series in December.

It's funny, it's sad it's just brilliant and a real slice of what life can be like.

  6. Just finished the first season of Lost. Although I've picked up on the majority of twists prior to them happening, I'm really enjoying it. Can't wait for season two; fortunately I don't have to since I've already downloaded it :)

  7. Didn't think Gotham had started yet? Or have you downloaded it because it started in America before it started here?

Definitely worth watching. DC have a good record of TV series, their characters seem to fit the serial style more than films. Odd really as Marvel seem to be the other way round.

  14. I loved Arrow. The actor is somewhat questionable but its a great watch IMO. The Flash will be the same since its written by the same people with a lot of similar actors etc. Have you seen the pilot episode?

yes tried watching that 'agents of shield' just couldn't get into it.
It was far too cheesy all theese young early twenties model like agents running around.

Although i think the recent DC films have been brilliant. I enjoyed Man of steel even though i hate the character of Superman and who doesnt love Nolans Batman!
I'm not too sure about Ben Asslick as the new Batman though.

Agents of Shield got better, I do get the 'Everyone is too pretty' comment, they are. Its big problem is the tie in to the films, what if you haven't seen the film yet, you miss a part of the story.

Wasn't massively bothered by Man of Steel. Just seemed to be destruction with fancy SFX, the story lacked somewhat.

Think the Nolan Batman films will have to be taken on their own, less of a Batman set of films more of a 'Dark Knight' set of films.
Be interesting to see the use of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in the next film and how they eventually get to the Justice League film.
