    3:35-Webbow-11/2 BOG

Won over 7f at Dundalk for Brian Ellison in December and reproduced that level of form when runner up over C+D on debut for new yard in early june.Had the reopposing Advanced back in 4th that day and that run should have put him spot on for this.

    4:10-Absa Lutte-5/1 BOG

Hold up performer who travels very strongly.Ended a long losing run when dead heating at Nottingham in May and produced a very good effort when returned to 5f the last day at Haydock finishing 2nd.Sure to go verly close again.

    Win Double at 38/1

Probably not going to be able to get on here tomorrow, so will put my picks on now (all of them) ;)

3.35 Donc - Tough call, think Webbow will be dangerous as will Reel Buddy Star and especially Dubai Dynamo. I actually picked out Webbow for the race DD came 2nd in last Saturday but changed to DD once Webbow was declared a non-runner. But my choice will be FLOWING CAPE, beat an inform horse in Collect Art and has been given plenty of time to recover, step back up to 7f will also suit.

4.10 Donc - BEAUTY PAGEANT - Think the softer ground and stiff finish found her out last time. Think he will go well.

4.35 Sand - CHAIN LIGHTNING - Progressing nicely until a bad draw at Ascot caught him out, still finished only 3 lengths behind. Previous form has been franked since.

8.45 Hayd - ROYAL HUSH - Took a while to get off the mark but big improvement once upped in trip, think she has more improvement in her for an in-form yard.

7.30 Bev - TED'S BROTHER - Landed a big gamble last week and Paul Hanagan was quoted as saying he "could be the sort to win two or three races on the bounce". ALENSGROVE the danger, backed him a few times but he keeps blowing the start or finding one too good.

As I will be doing a couple of Lucky 15's, others that make my list are VELOCE (9.15 Hayd), REGAL KISS (8.00 Bev). Both eyecatchers for me from last time out, all though VELOCE may need further. Also putting in an ousider in THE GALLOPING SHOE (8.15 Hayd), shaped quite well 3 starts back but first run for new stable was poor before signs of improvement last time out, dropped a couple of pounds and a drop in trip, could pop up at a big price in a tricky race.

P.S. I would take all the morning prices except CHAIN LIGHTNING

    Morning all

NAP today is DIESCENTRIC running in the 4.35 at Sandown - I put this one up on the horses to follow thread after he returned to form last time out with a fine third at Pontefract. This horse won the Wood Ditton as a 3yo and despite not progressing instantly (flopped last 3yo start, needed reappearance first 4yo start) I feel he has every chance here. He was slightly unlucky in running last time out and I am willing to back this lightly raced type at 11/2 (BOG)

    Hello lads.

Just one bet for me today,Mr Bones in the 7.40 at Wexford.

Won cosily last time in his first h'cap chase off 95.Up to 103 today but ran a good second over hurdles last summer off 108,so is potentially still well in with improvement still possible.Has form on tight tracks and all his best form on the forecast good/firm ground.Everything looks in place for a big run and the 4/1 on offer looks decent value.

    GL everyone having a play.<cheers>

    3 outsiders for me today:

400San: The Gosden 2nd string (Fallen Idol) should not be 20s and is worth an EW dabble.
410Don: Hypnosis from the small but very much in form yard of Noel Wilson could go well off a nice low weight at 18s (SJ).
715Hay: David Barron and Lee Newman have had a couple of debutant winners this season so although Dorry K is bred to make a nice 3yo, i have taken the 25s about her.

Looks a tricky days racing so good luck if you play <cheers>

It is interesting that 2 of the above are getting backed already. Fallen Idol has won FTO both seasons so although he has to improve to take a hand i am guessing Mr Gosden is expecting this. Also i would rather have Robert Havlin riding than Chuckle who is on the yards other horse and 5/2 fav!

Secondly, Dorry K is quite remarkably 10s with a couple and even less on Betfair so they obviously fancy her for a place, well i hope so anyway!

3.25 Sandown: ASTRAIOS 20/1 ew- Thought this looked one of the likelier types on and offered an interesting shout in terms of value. Hannon's will be there or thereabouts but of the newcomers this looks overpriced. Meehan's yard do get the odd big priced winner, though invariably they come on for the run.

4.00 Sandown: CLASS IS CLASS 5/1- Nicely bred and showed glimpses of ability before winning a listed race last season. Made a really encouraging reappearance when nabbed by City Leader (a big priced winner for me!) and can give Stoute's yard a boost this afternoon.

4.35 Sandown-BOTANIST 14/1 ew- Has some strong maiden form (beat numerous 80+ rated horses on third start) but didn't go on last season as a 3 Y O. Stoute perserveres and the last couple of starts, whilst on paper looking poor, were not always didsastrous and it may be one or two issues holding him back. First time tongue-tie might make all the difference today.

  13. Afternoon gentlemen, and Happy Friday to you all. Some difficult cards today, however, as always Im sure there is some nice priced types in there to be had and after studying here are my selections for today.

2.30 Donacter CHARLIE COOL 11/10 very short priced but takes a massive drop in class down from Class 2 to Class 5 and evrything else in his favour should see him winning again against the modest opponents on show today, if not then its off to the sellers for this one next time out.

3.35 Doncaster MY SINGLE MALT 16/1 runs off a healthy mark here today, ran in a 6f Class 3 Handicap at Beverley in April off the same mark and was running on in the final furlong with similar conditions underfoot. Whilst the extra furlong recently hasnt been to his liking i do feel today it will suit him and he could go close at a nice EW price.

4.10 Doncaster ATLANTIC CITY 10/1 An interesting runner here who had his first outing for his new stable LTO when a distance 8th beaten 5 1/2 lengths in lesser company after changing stables from Mr Condon in Ireland to Mrs Burke. Interestingly he hwon a 5f sprint in Ireland off a high mark of 92 at Down Royal in May last year. Today he gets in off a mark of 72 and may have just needed his first race for the new stable and is worth a tentative EW bet in a 9 runner Handicap.

4.45 Doncaster ROYAL DIAMOND 20/1 unfortunatly there are only 7 runners in this race, otherwise i would be having a decent sized EW bet on the selection, Jonjo O Neil doesnt have many runners on the flat and likewise doesnt train many for Mr Tinkler, this one has recently changed hands from Michael Dods having initially been with Mark Prescott. Whilst his recent form isnt great he takes a big drop in weights and drops back to Class 4 where he has winning form and Champion Jockey Paul Hanagan on board i think he could run a big race at a very nice price against average opposition.

4.00 Sandown VESUVE 16/1 my only selection at Sandown comes in the big race, with SBS having no less than 3 runners, I am opting for VESUVE who may have just needed the run LTO when finishing last, however, during that race he lost his action in the final 2f. He steps back up to 10f today which was the distance his last win came over at Ayr and with Richard Hughes booked to take the ride i fancy him to run a better race.

Good luck to everyone who plays today :emoticon-0116-evilg

7/1 is rather large a price for Maharanee, with Hanagan on board. Form of that maiden has been excellent and it was not beat far. I'd have thought 7/2 would be more realistic.

Have had to add a saver to my selection in the 4.00 Sandown:

ALL THE ACES returns for Roger Varian having been highly tried (including a Grp 1) in 2009 after smashing a field in listed company. Varian often has them ready to go immediately and at 25/1 is worth chancing.
