  4. actually it gets you 190 <ok>

EDIT: DERP! Again, 190 includes your stake back.

Dammit, Sky Bet try and take advantage of ignorance. I'm new to betting and must tread carefullly.

It would be really stupid to bet on this one , could go either way.

And 80 on Haye gets you 110 , not 190 mate! Work it out!

If you want your winnings out quicker than the previously mentioned couple of days after withdrawal, choose somebody like Ladbrokes where you can go to your local shop and withdraw straight from the online account, also if you going to be sticking a few bets on (those £1 accis soon mount up) open another account aswel as the Sky account, its good to sometimes compare the odds

Blowing your money isn't treating yourself. It's just blowing your money and makes you feel ****. You'll never, ever win with bets. If something is extremely unlikely to happen, the odds will be high, but they'll obviously be extremely unlikely to happen. If something is likely to happen, then the odds will be so low that you won't make any worthwhile cash.

It's only fun if you bet small sums, then if you win, you have a bit of pocket money to spend on the weekend for whatever reason. Spending anything more just gets annoying, and when it happens, you wish you had never done it.

  10. I'm not blowing my money mate <doh>

Even though you hate me and think i'm a ****tard, i'm sensible with my money. I'm not just going to put all my money to waste on gambling. I've worked hard to save this money.

I will put a little bit of it on a bet, to make things more exciting and to possibly get more money back. I know when to say no mate. <ok>

i just bet a fiver a week on the premier ship results. Never done very well, like chappaz said, if it was likely that you'd make any worthwhile amount of money then that betting company would have gone out of business a while ago

    And that's obviously why you put a self-imposed £100 deposit limit <doh>

  17. Interesting one just looked at -

Man Utd and city to win all trophies - PL, CL, Carling and Fa cup. So as long as these 4 trophies have a manc name on them, you win the bet.

    33/1 - £5 wins you 165 quid.

I don't think i'll do it, but it's worth considering.

Signed up to Betfair before christmas through the whole 'suggest a friend and if you spend over 25 we'll match it win or lose' kind of thing which did actually work, I ended up getting £25 free in my account. Blew it all not long after, made me realise how people can actually develop such an addiction, you convince yourself that it will happen just because the odds are good and you could win big. The best bets I found to put on were the large amount but small winnings type, for example you might bet £50 for Man utd to beat wigan, you'll win like £4 but eventually it adds up unless of course they draw! <doh>

Dont think either of them will get the CL. If it was more than 33/1 I'd give it a shot but I think Chelsea will be better next season as well.

These are the kind of bets they really want you to bet on...-unlikely- at £5 now it's nothing really I guess but you'll have to wait a long time to see the return
