What do you all think about this? The rumours just aren't going away and some pretty respectable sources have been talking about it. I would love it to happen because with no debt and these new financial rules we can outspend every other club and the Qataris wouldl probably expand the stadium as well. I doubt they would interfere with Fergie either because they want to create a good reputation for themselves before their world cup and everyone would turn against them if they annoyed Fergie.
I'm just going to take the rumours with a pinch of salt. If they did take over and cleared the debt it would be good but it's all paper talk as far as I'm concerned right now.
I would love to be free of the debt! And able to compete in the transfer market. However, the one thing the Glazer have done is stay out of the football side. New owners might not be so gracious. Only time will tell.
This is all rumoured, no official bids like with the Red Knights, nothing from the Family themselves. Just like some of the transfer rumours as far as I'm concerned it's just a pipe dream.
We would never be another chelski or another citeh as we have a manager who buys raw undeveloped talent and gives kids a chance. No matter how much money he has SAF rarely buys proven players.
