Well, not quite.

Been very mixed, haven't scored in their last 3 games and drew 0-0 with Blackpool at the weekend who only scraping together a team each week. Playing alright football but missing an £8m forward (Ulloa) upfront.

Moaning about a lack of CB's when you have just spent £150m on attacking talent (and ignored obvious defensive weaknesses) is nonsense

Because Van Gaal, like most people with a brain, can see that Luke Shaw is a fat, mediocre child who was overhyped because he is young and English, and he is probably shocked that United pay so much to an overweight teenager, who had a semi decent, flash-in-the-pan season with Southampton last year.

He clearly doesn't rate the kid, if he is putting a CB at LB instead of him, especially when they are so short of CBs right now.
He is playing Lindgaard and Blackett in defence over Shaw ffs! What does that tell you>?

Ferguson: ‘To get that kind of contempt, I don’t think any other Liverpool manager would ever have done that. But he is beyond the pale. I think you should respect a manager. I don’t think you’d ever get me doing something like that. You have to have humility.''

Sam: ‘What he did was disrespectful and quite humiliating. He made a gesture that was pretty dismissive to me and Blackburn Rovers as a whole.'' <laugh>

This has as much to do with Utd's predicament as anything. Everyone could see that last Ferguson side was a poor imitation of a Utd side yet opposing managers just tried not to get beat against them. He goes and teams start attacking the SAME team and get results, Moyes was a scapegoat. The former Utd players managers committee and his lapdogs beat to his drum. It's no coincident that those that didn't have a good relationship with him faired better

I agree. Not sure about Moyes though. He got lots of things wrong. Just one example, he never had the dressing room, if we're to believe what some of the players have said since he left, so it was never going to go well for him.

Bloody hell talk about write off your chances. That's a shocking statement from a manager. Pretty much told manure " don't worry we will just sit back in awe of your awesomeness" every one nows OT is not the fortress it once was . With uniteds defensive problems it's the ideal time to just go and attack.

Not moaning, answering a question. He also didn`t comment on his lack of centre backs but his lack of "available left sided" centre backs.
I know most of you read/hear things the way you wan`t them to be but it just makes the rest of us shake our heads in amazement.

"rest of us"

<laugh>

Diego, pundits including Gary Neville and Scholes, most tabloid hacks and many Utd fans think that LVG was off his head buying a multitude of attacking players at the expense of a weak defence that badly needed strengthening.

So the rest of you are in a tiny minority for hearing/reading things the way you want them to be but aren't.<whistle>
