I'm worried about this one. I just fear there's a tonking and a balloon deflater just around the corner...this could be it. (Hey, Mr Neggy here!)
Hahaha, no trust me, I'm loving this, but also felt we were getting found out a bit on Saturday prior to Bony's dismissal. We're good, and we're better than I feared we would be, but I don't think we're *that* good and can see a bubble being burst hard if we're not careful... God, I do sound like a Saintswebber all of a sudden! Just checking my breakfast for any sign of Barry Sanchez!
You are probably correct, but I really am just going to enjoy this as much as possible. I f**king love football
We have got to enjoy this, we deserve these smiles after that summer. My feet are on the ground, but I stuck the league table on the ceiling so I can stare up at it.
I wouldn't put too much emphasis on us being bad on Saturday. There were a few issues there: 1. We were away to a very good side. 2. The personnel we picked for the game were wrong. Koeman should have played Vic. It's the first big mistake he's made - and I didn't call it at the time as I don't trust myself to overrule the great ginger one - but it was wrong. 3. Koeman has a knack of working out what is wrong and changing it at half time. Swansea messed up in two ways - 1. the red card, 2. the fact they kept missing their chances. It is a bit of shame the red came, as it left the false impression we simply weren't good. We were very good for the first ten minutes, then dreadful - but we had the capacity to be good again.
Better be this game than the QPR one (especially as I have a ticket!!!). Are we going to stay second?...no; are we top ten?...yes. How high we finish could be decided by how well we do when we are hot and other teams are settling in...this is what happened last season. Get points on the board...stop the opposition winning close games and snatch those points. We will have crappy games as well, but I'm sure we are in for a good season. Arsenal must be favourites, but then ManU were favourites against Leicester. I want this to be a good game, so that our confidence is maintained.
Nope. Not quite at least. The bottom tier is completely sold out now but a few tickets are left at the back of the top tier. Look like it will be tomorrow tonight though!
“@AFCAcademy: Crowley, Maitland-Niles and Akpom join Zelalem, Ajayi and Bellerin in first team training ahead of tomorrow’s League Cup game.” Looks like potentially heavy rotation for Arsenal. Crowley is certainly favored to get an appearance.
Awesome. That will make the experience even better - a packed Emirates under the floodlights, with 5,000 Saints fans.
On Tuesday night you might see Héctor BellerÃn, Francis Coquelin and Isaac Hayden. In the squad we have Chuba Akpom and Semi Ajayi as well. These are the players that are the closest,” said Wenger. _______________________________________ He's just trying to lull Ronald into putting all the kids in!
