Position in September obviously means little ultimately, but a nice little comparison.

Favourite memories of the fixtures with the teams in the first image?

Ah yes, just seen this floating around on Facebook. Brilliant to whoever created it, and shows how far we've come.

Altough I love how a load of teams aren't featured on there, but some teams are on there twice :') but thats ok, still emphasises the rise!

Personally, whilst I have great memories of playing those teams, I think what i cherish the most from that image is the great time we had in league one and the championship. Whether we won, lost or drew, it was a really good time with good fans, some excellent little grounds in places we never thought we would ever visit.

That was a really strange night. As i remember it the atmosphere changed when MKD got their second goal. it went very quiet and then the whole ground seemed to start getting behind the team and singing their hearts out (strange but true). Probably the best vocal support that I can remember at SMS.

Mine was Leeds at home in the first Championship game, when Dean Hammond scored that belter I had a lovely feeling we were going to be alright! What a journey we've been on.

Walsall at home, THAT was the day our rise truly began. Also a special mention for both Leeds games in Championship.

As we seem to have taken to top flight like a duck to water.......its a big NO from me, but it was a brilliant adventure & a great way to rebuild our special club.
Wolves seem to have nabbed our blueprint.

They have, I quite fancy them for play offs this year. I think Kenny Jackett is a decent manager. Obviously you want your team to the be the best they can but I just look back on those 3 seasons with so much fondness and I have no doubt (strange as it may sound) that in years to come I will always consider finishing 2nd in League1 more memorable than finishing 8th in the PL. Strange eh?

I know, some of the League One clubs appear several times for some reason, but the principle is sound.
