Well give Spurs a chance tomorrow. You're right though. I watched the WBA 90 minutes last night and WBA played us very well indeed. We couldn't impose ourselves at all.
Ah, now you're just taking the romance out of the stat. It's the same sort of stat the media shove at the football public where one team hasn't beaten another in 50 years, and they forget to tell us that the two teams haven't met for 50 years.
In fact Kenya became the 100th foreign country to be represented in the Premier League when Victor made his debut for us last August.
Just think, if we had beaten them on the opening day by 2 goals, not only would we be top now, but they would be 17th, just ahead of Newcastle on GD.
The thing is....we were the best side and deserved something out that game. And at work I predicted to the Liverpool fans harping on about how great they will be this season that I wouldn't be surprised to see Brendan sacked this season.....I think if they lose to Everton next week a nail just might have landed in his coffin.
The amount they spent, the board must have expected them to be challenging for the league this season, even mroe so than last season.
Well done for getting the points - mugged us again! Thought the ref was a shocker for both sides. It looked like he caved in to Soton player pressure for Bony's second yellow and Swans crowd pressure for Bertrand (I think it was). Bertrand always plays well against us. Got to be honest, even though it is early in the season, there wasn't much quality on show for 3rd v 4th. Both clubs should be OK this season but don't see either setting the world alight. ps for Fonte, Yoshida and Long
So if Man City beat Chelsea, we get an early goal vs QPR and Villa take the lead against Chelsea...screenshot immediately! Shame Chelsea aren't playing Sunday as then we'd only need to go ahead to be first.
