That was a great cross from Sissoko, just not enough players attacking the box

We really needed that point with two hard away games to come. If Hull had calmed down at 0-2 they could have got a couple more mind.

Immediate thoughts... Draw SHOULD NOT be enough to save Pardew. Hull City scored two screamers, missed two great chances, but other than that, they were ****. If anybody wants Bruce here, I'll slap them, they're wrong. He's worse!!!!!!!!!!
Tiote head and shoulders above any of our other players in terms of quality, unless Cisse has found his form again!

This is the limbo result a lot of people dreaded. It will be interesting to see what happens - or not.

Great to Cisse back. If he can be the Cisse of 2012 then he IS like a new signing. Big, big 'if' tho....

Just shows how different things can be with a recognised goalscorer on the pitch.

Papiss Cisse the decorator...papering over the cracks !

    This.

It'll be enough to keep him in a job unfortunately. So happy for Cisse though.

Aye...agree with both of the above. Great to see Cisse scoring again, and a nice message for Jonas to boot.

Would love to have seen Colo's volley from the corner scream in mind !

5 away games in our next 7. Interesting times ahead !

A point is a point but at home we should be bagging 3 against teams outside of the top 6.
Well played the lads for the comeback but for me, we are still firmly in the ****e.

The amount of optimism from this draw is, quite frankly, embarrassing. Going down.

That point may be invaluable come the end of the season.

The problem is I can't see us playing like that in these away games coming up. In regards to today's game, it was more Hull blowing it rather than us coming back. Even though we showed heart in the last 25 mins if we start poorly against more ruthless teams we will see many more hammerings this season.

I just listened to his Sky Sports interview - at times I could've sworn his bottom lip was trembling, honestly. At times it sounded a little bit like a eulogy, or eugoogly. By that assessment, I imagine he's going absolutely nowhere as I'm terminally wrong when it comes to his future.

He said "we was great at times", so not got a clue what he was watching. The consensus that a draw was somehow a pleasing result is fcking embarrassing.

It's certainly not a great result, but I can't remember the last time we came from 2-0 down, so I guess there must be some positives. Maybe.

Thinking about his comments, it did sound like he may well be at a standoff with Ashley. Said something like "one of the best clubs in the country and I'm going to fight to keep it".

Who's optimistic? I haven't read much on here or twitter which would warrant your embarrassment. Everyone seems to be largely in agreement - the performance was toothless, a solitary point is not good enough at home against Hull, a draw will unfortunately probably be enough to afford Pardew a stay of execution in MA's eyes. Cisse scoring again and looking sharp is the sole real positive.
