The best dog I've had was a boxer x lab. Friendly soft and brilliant with kids.

My future brother in law has a boxer and they have a 9 month old a 2 year old and a 5 year old, the boxer is amazing with them -he even lets them ride him like a horse.

Only downside to boxers are they are quite prone to illnesses etc.

A mate of mine has a cross blue staffy and bullmastiff - one of the nicest looking dogs I've seen and is so well natured, it's just an all round great dog.

That's not actually Lucy mate <laugh> I haven't got a pic of her down a hole so had to find one.........remember me and my mate used to take her night fishing with us (great for keeping the rats away) but if she didn't come back when I called you could guarantee we'd find her half buried like that

I used to have this vid on my phone (until it got robbed) of her as a pup chasing the ball round the garden with control Maradona would have been jealous of seriously <ok> It was about 5 mins long and she never lost control of the thing once....my mates knicknamed her Robbie. She's nearly 14 now though so she has to make do with a coaching role <whistle>

Its true, big dogs make good goal keepers........but yeah distribution is a problem.

If it wasn't I'd say sign one and make Jones our number 3.

    Please explain.

Cats are **** imo, they don't do **** all but **** in peoples gardens and bring you dead birds as presents.

Dogs are great for family days out - nice long walks along the beach etc etc.

I have a boxer, he's 3 years old and he's as good as gold <ok> his name is billy and he's great with everyone, he gets excited and jumps up but once he calms down he's fine, he's also great with my 8 year old nephews too <ok>
