I thought Yoshida was starting to look good so I'd have no worries if he played. Haven't really seen Gardos but he should be a decent player.
Given that KBilly on SaintsWeb is normally reliable on these things (Alderweireld), that's a huge shame. Still, we wanted strength in depth, now we got it!
http://www.theswanseaway.co.uk/2014/09/11-v-11-swanseas-players-compared-to.html#.VB1BaRZnCfU A swans fan page doing a player by comparison of the 2 clubs. Unsurprisingly swans have more in the 11 including a yet to score striker over pelle.
Love how Ashley Williams is apparently better than a belgian international centre back who played for the spanish title holders. Also Routledge or Tadic ? I know who i'd rather have.
The player comparison was interesting, if thats what the Swans think then they may be in for a surprise. Routledge better than Tadic? LOL Honestly I wouldn't favour any of the Swans team into our team.
Ashley Williams....captain of Wales and Swansea v Toby, Belgian international who played for the winners of la liga and reached last years champions league final hhhmmmmn.......
Thought the exact same..especially confusing as the author goes for Fernandez over Fonte because he was at the the world cup...yet ignores the same criteria in Toby's case
Ashley plays for wales, Gareth bale also plays for wales, ashley is captain of wales = Ashley is better than Bale
MMJ - who would you import from the Swans team into our first XI I would have a number into our squad but not sure I would play them into the starting team
Christ, our midfield is top four. I really feel positive this year, I like this team a lot. At full strength I think we're a challenge for any team in this league.
I've got us down for a relatively straightforward win. I don't mean entirely comfortable for 90 minutes as Swansea have some decent players, but I think our midfield will dominate and drive the game. As long as the boys have got their shooting boots on, I think we'll be too strong. 0 - 2 for me
Anyone know anything about Long? Presuming he's back since it looked more a case of being a bit dizzy on saturday than a long lasting injury. If shane and toby are both out it'll be much harder for us.
