    Ha ha,

that made me laugh out loud, and reminded me of my great pal Lynchy....

This lad once won £50 in a can of Carling, remember the 'instant win in can' thing, years back.

Now the contents of the can was carbonated water, plus a plastic chute with a £50 note in.....

Lynchy...'****ing cheeky bastards, there's nee lager in here i'm not ****ing having it....'

Took us 20 mins for him to accept that if he nipped to the offy and bought 4 more cans for £2.99 or whatever it was at the time, he'd be £47 and 3 cans of ale up.

    Legendary.

Sadly i won't be home for that one, it's come too early with the derby, which i obviously can't miss, in the same month.

I'd suggest you offer a few on here a PM of your places name, and you'll get a good turnout on the day <ok>

Whats your pub called? Would the local police be ok if we invaded in our thousands?

Is it far from the ground?

My gig work is seasonal and its quiet on the venue front at the moment so I am mainly doing festivals, which in turn means a lot of standing around not doing much hence why I have been on here a lot more recently.

DJ wise I do the main 2 1/2 hours between 11pm -1.30am every Friday and Sat, I usually get a lift home with one of the lighting techs or the other DJ so quite often post at 2.30am while I am waiting for my lift.

Work is looking quiet for August, I need to get myself a DJ slot abroad for that month because every ****er has left the UK on holiday. I need an agent.

I usually work overseas, mainly Africa where the oil and gas is, in between jobs right now but waiting for a Visa to go back to Nigeria in the next couple of weeks.

Had a right result as i was due to travel on 1st August which would have meant missing the scum derby, now travelling on 11th July so will be home for it, ****ing get in there, there is a god after all.

The police wouldn't give much of a crap to be fair....the pub is The Commercial. It's about five miles from the ground....but I doubt you'll get thousands in here!

I have a mate Rossi, ****ing cracking lad. Was a miner till that **** Thatcher shut all the pits.

Anyway, the dole sent him for retraining on one of those scheme things.

"well, I,ve always fancied the fire brigade like"

"don't mean to be rude Mr Ross but I think you may be a bit short" (he's ownly five foot fower).

Rossi; "ye cheeky bitch, they,ve got ladders havn't they?"

That's Ross, ****ing love the lad.

I may be able to top you. :p

We used to drink in the Hat & Feather as it was the only place half the lads could get served. :)
One lad admitted he was a virgin.
So I shouted over to the couple of old pro's in the corner if they fancied shagging him for a couple of quid.
Both volunteered so he got a choice.

We all chipped in as it was his first time.
Off he went to the alley at the side of the pub and returned 10 minutes later, red faced smiling and swaggerring like killer from the Villa.

The old pro came in some time later walked over and put the money on the table and said " You don't need to pay if you can't get it up son!."

40 years later we still take the piss out of him about it. :):p

Be great for you though mate.

We have magnificent and well behaved away support, and believe me,we/they like a drink.

Look on youtube at some of the away days, great atmosphere, banter well with the home fans, and will drink you dry! (the bar that is, unless jerseys going...)

Being a full time Hairyhaggis is hard work. The not606 just gives me that wee break i need.

In all seriousness, I work on the oil rigs down in Australia as a completions and drilling engineer installing and maintaining the subsea equipment that builds, produces and completes the wells to get the gas and/or oil out. Starting to get work overseas now aswell, only taken 5 bloody years.

Mind you, the amount of lads ive met from Sunderland and South Sheilds down here on the oil rigs is unbelievable. They seem to become subsea engineers for the rigs themselves (met about 5 of them doing that one job). Is it something in the water there?

I do a few different nights. The main one is Assembly Classics which is Dance anthems, I mainly specialise in 90's stuff, originally it was a 90's only night but we got so many requests for more modern stuff that we made it broader to include all the usual big dance hits. Were the most popular night in Leamington by miles and get people from all over the UK visiting us for all sorts of special occasions, stags hens etc...even had Dion Dublin, Russell Howard and Ian Beal from East Enders in recently. (I am decent at beat mixing)

Once a month I do an indie night which is all guitar music: Blur, Oasis, Pulp, The Killers etc...

Then I also do Cortina Nights which is 60's, 70's & 80's The moto is:

Friday nights like they used to be where old spice was king and the only thing you wore in bed was you medallion. Go back 20 years when Charlie was a mans name and sophistication was creme de monte and avacado.

    You get the idea.
