Steve Bruce will not go to Newcastle because it would mean swapping a club at which he has a great relationship with the owners; they back him financially and don't get involved in the playing/coaching - and he likes them on a personal level - or working for Mike Ashley, who nobody gets on with and does not give his managers autonomy over buying/selling. It suits your argument to suggest that Bruce must be eager to get out because of the Allam's, but that's a load of ****e and you know it.
Keep it going, it's looking good... Pardew -'an anonymous group of supporters organised the production of 200 banners and 15,000 A4 posters demanding his head'. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/alan-pardew-labels-newcastle-sack-4282755#ixzz3DiLV73Ov
Which sums up our fans really. They're staging 'football's biggest ever protest' over a poor run of results. Yet some of our fans will not only allow our club to be ****ed about with but despise those who do stand up for it. Newcastle will show us real passion, but as OLM says, the ones who go won't be the PLW, booing types.
You have to doff your hat to the biffa's, passionate, traditional, loyal supporters. Good luck to them in their protest.
Judging by the banner in the picture, they've even got George Formby on their side. please log in to view this image
The atmosphere will be toxic tomorrow, the majority of our fans literally do not care about the result, it is all about the Pardew protest which I think is a waste of time as Ashley has proved time and time again he does not care what we think. If we sack Pardew we will end up with someone even worse, another puppet for Ashley basically. It is getting to the point now where I would happily see us relegated if it meant getting rid of Ashley. Pardew is not the main problem he is just a symptom of it, it all boils down to the fat cockeny who is basically destroying the club and he has even managed to cause a divide amongst our own fans. Pardew will get hell and we will get beat tomorrow, I am 100% sure of that. He still will not get sacked though.
Wish I was there to see it. A proper set of fans united, passionately trying to save their club. It's a shame our likewise fans are in such a small number now when compared to the PLW's.
Reminds me of when we were owned by loan shark Hayes. Our club has been so much happier since he went, and it shows on the pitch.
