I liked the championship because the fans were loyal and actually knew about football. Not to take the piss out of them.

it was fun to gloat, but i found championship fans to be "real" football fans. football didnt seem commercialised in the football league. and the fans i did get to meet were utter die hard fans, but not mugs.

but of course you would miss the championship. a league where we were expected to win every match. its a winning mentality. but now we have to grind it out and fight for mid table mediocrity. but in all fairness id rather have it that way

I enjoyed the Championship for the decent banter we had with the opposition. Even Florist were funny (unintentionally).

This. Most of the fans were a breath of fresh air.

Winning week in week out probably makes you remember it a bit more fondly. There were some decent away trips though and a wider variety of stadiums and supporters. I liked the seats with no backs at Bristol City where when we equalised we all piled forward - good times.

Do not miss it at all !!!! If as a club we want to move on and build somehing for the future then the Championship ain't the place to do it. Yes fans generally more friendly but we all want to see a progressing club.

Top dogs of what??? I understand what you are saying but lets remember the level we were playing at. Yes we did a fabulous job in coming straight back up the way we did & credit to all for that, but look to the future !!

Championship fans didn't genuninely believe it made them a better human being supporting a different football team, like a lot of EPL fans do.
