I've just looked on the mod site, and the last post is someone saying that the supermod, "brb is having trouble accesses the forum he keeps getting a support.google.com/wesearch message come up does anyone know how to fix this". I'm guessing that's a joke, but there's a few others having issues at the minute, so I'll add ours to the list.
By all accounts the source of the problem eminates from West Park. Some malicous tinkering at boardroom level within the KC. I think we need a "clear the malware" press conference and I know just the man...
I don't begin to understand the answer, but the site owner is aware and is on with it. Apparently he's running some software that helps him narrow down the problem to a specific plug in or template.
