I cant believe that there is another football club like NUFC. Surely nobody else has had to put up with level of lies and utter bollocks as we have. If there is or has been, who was it. I`d love to know!!:emoticon-0112-wonde

Oh come now, don't be so dramatic. There are clubs going out of business, big clubs like Coventry face uncertain futures because they are owned by a hedge fund. I'd rather Ash than SISU.

Leeds and Portsmouth had far worse done to them, Leeds have kept going to an extent but they don't half get the nutty owners award.

To me, there is no other club as special as ours, and no other I could share my love with.

If you're getting at how badly our club is run, or how much pain the fans have been put through then I raise you: Leeds, Cardiff, Portsmouth, Coventry, Darlington, Chester City, Wimbledon, Maidstone, Hereford, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs, Clydebank, Port Vale, Wrexham, Luton Town, Blue Star, any team that has been relegated twice in 2 years, any team that is not in the top 2 tiers of English football, any team that doesn't exist anymore, etc, etc, etc....

Let's not get carried away here....

It's an admirable trait that one can self analyse with such candour.

It's difficult at the top and don't take anything away from you personally, however mist football fans are not known for their intelligence.

Er if you mean badly run, I'd think its pretty obvious there are quite a few worse off than ourselves.

I think our fans need to develop a stronger sense of "suck it up and move on"

As a business, it could be argued that MA has done what needed to be done to properly balance the books.
He's hardly made it enjoyable or fed anyone's aspirations. It could be sold to somebody who genuinely interested in putting that spark back.
But he also does have the power to let us drop through the divisions without it would seem losing him a night's sleep. That is the scary option.

He won't depreciate an asset if he can avoid it

Agreed. I am not convinced he's bothered about us staying up anymore. I think if/when Pardew goes, we will go for someone ridiculous. I couldn't believe that seemingly random comment on the other thread about Kenny - coupled with the rumour we're lining up someone with a "successful track record".....

Our value get's cut in half the moment we're relegated, and any profitability disappears entirely. I'm pretty sure Ashley is bothered about that

Understand that, but his actions completely go against this fairly obvious point? Unless he's the only man in the world who thinks an utterly reviled manager who will turn the ground into a cauldron of toxic abuse is going to keep the club up?
