Montenegro and Del Fab are not traveling as they played yesterday for the development squad. To early for both of them.

Morning all, I would make one change from Saturdays starting 11 Doukara in place of Sharp. I would like to see Adryan coming off the bench but I guess it will depend on how the game is going, if we are chasing the game I can't see him coming on.

Bournemouth love to attack at pace down the flanks ... their game is built for getting crosses in with midfield runners arriving late in the box ... diamond will mean we get overrun similar to the Brighton game, except we could get hammered because Bournemouth are very much a front foot team ... WTF am I saying? It's fcuking Bournemouth!! Jeez, is this really where we are as a club?

My team for tonight would be:

    Gk - Silvestri
    Rb - Byram
    Cb - Pearce
    Cb - Bellusci
    Lb - Warnock

    Dm - Cook
    Cm - Bianchi
Cm - Adryan (I would have picked Mowatt had he been fit)
    Cm - Sloth

    St - Sharp
    St - Doukara

I dropped Antenucci. I do like him, but I feel away from home we need a poacher to sneak one in for us. When Sharp and Doukara played together at Boro they linked well enough.

I would of said slowly introduce Adryan, but **** it - with Mowatt out I say give him a shot. He will be hungry to play.

I'm not a massive fan of the formation though. But feel we will most likely stick with it. It might come good if the passing is sharp and more attack minded.

Have to echo what most have already said: really worried about this game, we could easily be beaten by 3 or 4. We were fortunate to beat an average Bolton side and only got a point against a dire Brum. Here's hoping I'm wrong though <ok>

Darlington, brings back memories when I'd travel from RAF Catterick to Darlington up to Newcastle to stay with my relatives and drinking Mc Kewans ale on the trip up.<wah>

They move the ball about brilliantly and we could be there for the taking. I feel this games come too soon for us.

My sentiments exactly. You could be excused for thinking we are facing real madrid away instead of Bournemouth

Not entirely confident for this game. Have a feeling that we'll probably stick with the same team except either Austin or Tonge in for Mowatt (its definitely not the team I'd pick). Doukara might start instead of Antenucci

I've seen enough of them to be worried mate. Especially as we dont know our best 11 and our formation (if we stick with the diamond) will play straight into there hands.

I've no idea what formation will line up, but I do believe I know what formation should line up - a defensive 4-5-1.

We've got to be realistic. We can't attack to save ourselves atm, and anyway, when playing away, we should be looking to defend in depth, and hopefully scoring on the break. To this end, I would drop Sharp, as we need someone up top to hold the ball up. The Duke would be my tip for that, but Antenucci might be able to do a decent holding job too (no idea - haven't seen him in this role). I most certainly wouldn't change the defence. We need stability, and much as I love Byram, he has no right to step into the team ahead of Berardi. Berardi has been doing ok, and can't be made to think he's second choice - his morale is important! Midfield? Hmmm. Cook, Bianchi & Sloth should be guaranteed starters, and I would probably add some steel with Murphy & Austin, & hope to God at least one of them performs.

I know the diamond is our favoured style these days, but we can't beome a one trick pony.

Spot on Bucks, I have them in my accys alot to score over 2.5 goals, that's why I know they can score. They also don't need much to be up for the game considering events after our promotion match..
