New food tonight. Might just have to try the Kati roll. They've even put some Wild Berry Cider on for the laydees (and the gayboys). http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/article/1415-catering-app-1914515.aspx The Tiger Events catering team are delighted to launch a brand new App aimed at improving supportersâ match day experience ahead of this Mondayâs Barclayâs Premier League clash at home to West ham United (kick-off 8pm). And to mark the occasion, all pies are half price when purchased separately via the App. The concourse catering team are also trialing a range of foods from around the world at various points within the stadium. Mumbai will be coming to the North Stand with fans able to enjoy an array of authentic Indian street food such as Chicken Methi and Channa Masala with rice from the Himalayas and the famous Mumbai Kati Roll. Momâs Big Bad Boy Hot Dog, a huge, mean and meaty 140g hot dog is available in selected units, while Deep Pan Pepperoni and Margherita pizzas are also on the menu along with seasoned potato wedges in the East Stand. Not only that, a new improved Quarter Pound Burger will be on sale to fans in the East Stand, with the delicious and refreshing Kingstone Press Wild Berry Cider stocked within every kiosk. The My Order App can be downloaded from www.preoday.com or is available from the App Store on iTunes, Google Play and Windows Phone. Just enter the venue code HULL to get started.
I don't get much of an Internet signal on the concourse. Even with the wifi connection there is. Looks like full price for me
You can order what you want before you go from home while you have a signal. Not 100% sure how its going to work for collection but i imagine you will just show something either on your phone or they may have your details from the app that you input.
I got to taste test the burger and giant hot dog, they weren't bad at all, I just wonder if they can manage to replicate in the kiosks, what we were served directly from the kitchens.
Their pies are minging though, some folk near us buy them and the smell is revolting i wouldn't even pay £0.50 for them now the suggestion of the ole chippy sounds much more appealing!
Mine is Chicken 'all-in' Bean Broth, in front of the telly with a few bottles of Double Maxim. I going to get the wife to sit at the south end of the room and throw in a few choice songs and chants around my westerly positioned couch. Wish I was there, but this will do; enjoy lads and lasses! UTT.
The one I tried was good, though as I said above, I wonder if the kiosks can serve the same quality that we were served direct from the kitchens.
I have only ever had a pie once at the stadium, and that was fuelled by a mixture of desperation and Stella! Never again!
don't want to sound pie-ist but I'm guessing the kitchen version may be better than the kiosk version OLM - one of my mates got one which had a lump of fat/gristle that filled about half the pie....we thought it was hilarious but he didn't see the funny side - been a tight t**t he took it back to complain....got the bum's rush of course which just made it funnier for the rest of us....
