I am not saying I want Harry sacked, and I am not a Harry hater, but I just can't connect with him, and I am not sure long term he is good for the club. I felt the same with Hughes. Warnock was the last manager I felt had passion for the club, however that is the past, and I wouldn't have him back. With Harry it is that until this season I just didn't feel he felt part of the club. He looks a bit more committed this year but if Tottenham offered him the managers job would he stay? It just seems to me like its a job for him. Manager wise I feel he spent big to keep us up last time in the premiership and it failed. In the championship on paper I think we had the best squad, yet we struggled, most of the games terrible to watch, and lucky to get promoted. We didn't rectify our striker problem in January last year and nearly missed out. It is only early season but so far: Again we haven't dealt with the lack of strikers. Harry stating he hopes Remy stays and he is a good lad, only to be shafted near the end of the transfer window is poor. I would also never have given Zamora another contract. Hill and Dunne are past there best and not convinced so far by Ferdinand. What is wrong with Yun he has played well when I have seen him play. Onuoha has to be a better option too. Away form: even although we have had to play probably two of the top six clubs this year we go to these grounds giving them too much respect. Why has Harry always got to speak about certain transfers before they are completed and then they don't happen? Why does Harry have to make stupid post match comments like we are not fit enough? Positives are we played well at home, but lack of goals may be our downfall. Change is not good so we can stick with him, but Harry needs to change, his coaches need to change, and get on with the job, and forget about past jobs. Show me how much he wants QPR to be successful and I might connect with him.
Good post NorthLondonQPR. I'm not your reactionary sort and have never posted about needing Harold to move on etc but I get what your saying.
Agree with all that. His comments leave me baffled, and I can't see him wanting to commit long term to the club. Far rather a younger manager in place who can see himself in the role for a number of years.
Not playing certain players is the only real problem i have with Harry. I have no idea why you would play hill at left back. When two seasons ago Hill even said himself, that his legs have gone and he should not play there. Yun i believe is injured. So why not play Ned. Talking of I can't understand why you would not build your defence around Ned. He is a beast who is not only solid but quick. I understand why he bought in Rio but I would not base the defence round him. There still seems to be a lack of future planning. In Harry's credit I do think he has bought in a squad that is going to keep us up. I am getting the feeling harry won't be here come this time next year. I would hope that who ever is bought in next is young and is given time to build a developing squad
