Looking at the players who have moved on, it occurred to me that we have been quite good at improving players...polishing their bodywork, adding go faster tape...then selling them on for inflated money. Pimping your player, if you like. Diversification into the used car business would be profitable where we can convince people they are buying a Porsche and not a Hyundai.
What a sump-ious tread this is! But I disagree with analogy. Really what Saints do is take the new parts from decent cars and then persuade rich clubs that if they work on them, they could be converted into a Rolls for the price of merely an Aston Martin. Oh, and we throw in a free, 100 yard guarantee!
