Im sure you could make the 200ish mile round trip every saturday!!! where is your dedication?? lol

The worst thing was, the worst striker that turned up was wearing a toon top. If he had 23 Ameobi on the back I would have believed it was Shola!!!

I'm also a lefty, seems to be quite a few on here which is strange, bring on the lefty revolution!!
Used to play left mid back in the day, stick to 5/6 a side these days, fitness isnt what it used to be but can still pick out a strikers head easy enough.

Right back prefferably, however spent the majority of the last couple of seasons centre mid. Could of done with this thread last week lol had adi nova's firm ground/adi pure's soft ground but nova's split last tuesday so now have umbro specialli's, a bargain in themselves, £32 down from £90

Started out as a striker, then attacking mid, then defensive mid and finally I became a CB.

I retired before they made me keeper

Centre-Half, the position of the lazy man with a good knowledge and reading of the game (who also likes to get stuck in - I've broken my own bones, other people's bones and put someone in hospital with concussion).

You missed out lack of technical ability, which is why I tended to end up at the back when I played.

Havent played in a team for a good few years but when having a kickabout or whatever usually play at either full back or on the wing. Generally preferred being on the left despite being right footed.

Can you say that though? I think having a good reading of the game, along with an ability to play the ball at a decent standard more than makes up for not being able to do stepovers at 100mph.

Plus, I scored a lot of goals so I offered something extra to the team. <cheers>
