It's all opinions Boris, you have yours and I have mine. It was a complete one off is my firm opinion. I feel it's a justified opinion as the fact she never replicated anything like it before or after backs it up <ok>

    NIGHT OF THUNDER 9/2

Toronado is one of my favourite horses but I rate NOT on round about the same ability so logically the weight difference and Ryan Moore on board mean I see the 3YO pulling out more. Toronado is ALL about the Breeders Cup this season and will be campaigned to peak in the USA.

Look out for DOLNIYA if Treve isnt the same horse and dont write off ELLIPTIQUE for Fabre in the 1.30. Been given time to improve and the form with Adelaide/Teletext/Gallante is a bit muddling.

    <rofl>

someone still a bit raw after last night I think

if it was a one off how did I know she was going to do it? because id seen it before <ok>

can you imagine what she would have done to Australia in the Arc last year?

People talk about the Arc, it was the Diane for me that was her most impressive performance, the way she burst through that gap and the acceleration was just incredible, never seen anything like it. It was a similar moment to when Frankel made that move round the outside in the Royal Lodge, when you know you have seen something a bit different.

Not raw mate at all. Not the first time we've expected a horse to win and it didnt. You know the score ;) Unlike you however, on your infamous Champion Hurdle day i dont cross the line like you did that day, threatening Oddy, Bob etc and Ron had to go into overtime deleting your vile posts <rofl>

My opinion won't change about Treves win. I backed her too that day, more than happy she won but the saying when something looks too good to be true it usually is springs to mind. Just like Sea Moons Germany Derby win, I consider it to be a freak one-off! Not seen before, not seen after <ok>

No point starting another row Boris, we're on the same page, I presume you want her to win the Arc too? Remember how you were saying at the start of season how the 3/1 for the Arc could be 'bet of the year' and how you encouraged everyone to back her for Ascot, 'take the 7/4 people, take it now' etc?!

Let's keep it chilled today Boris Fenster :)

Same as me mate <ok> You should take the 6/1 double to win today and the Arc like I did. I know these French trainers don't mind loosing these trials before the big one but in today's circumstances I doubt Treve could win the Arc if beat today. Could be wrong though, no certainties in racing they say

Is there a case you could say Adelaide was a tad unlucky? Still wouldn't have beaten winner you suspect but promising all the same

That is my whole point about Aussie- Adelaide has form ties in all sorts of just below top standard events, and apparantly Aussie is miles in front of him. If I owned Australia, barring the ground, nothing at all in that race would phase me.

Ectot ran a nice trial there though and will come on for that. Interesting.

Oh don't get me wrong IF the ground is no worse than say gd, gd-sft on the day Ballydoyle are completely bottling it not running Aussie in it. He's perfect for it, the Arc is an easier mile & half to get than the Epsom Derby or the Irish Derby.

Cant blame them for not taking him on soft though, that's completely understandable. There's a reasonable school of thought to suggest Camelot was ruined by running on heavy ground in the Irish Derby

Tatlisu looks a fair price at 10s. Beat Muthmir few runs back and has been very consistent in decent sprints, no reason why he wont run another big race.

    Treve evens with Ladbrokes.

Not like them to take one on especially when they have been shortest price for the Arc.

We'll see in 15 mins whether the 6/1 is another waste of dish <laugh>
