Was fully expecting a low score draw today... Shows what I know

Tettey was excellent for the third, lovely touch to get into the position to cross. I feel like I come across as being too harsh on Grabban, but surely he should be taking that chance cleanly rather than needing Turner to bundle the ball home?

A front 3 of Jerome Grabban and Redmond looks frightening to say the least...

Tettys touch to set up the third goal was excellent, and Redmonds chipped cross to Grabbans head shows that he deserves the praise he is starting to get. The definitive game of two halves. Will have to get up in the middle of the night several times this season now. 7:45 k.o. is 2:45, and after the clocks change, 3:45 for me.

A good mix of goals, defenders and midfielders getting in on the act. Very happy with yesterday's efforts. How Grabban didn't score the 3rd is beyond me though! His place might be well up for debate with Hooper back and Jerome turning the game yesterday. Maybe we'll see Jerome and Hooper upfront with Redmond behind against Brentford?

It is a great problem to have! especially with four games in 2 weeks now.

Hooper was meant to play in the Development Squad game on Friday, but had a dead-leg problem in training. Doubt we'll see him on Tuesday, so Grabban, Jerome and Redmond looks likely. It's a real bonus that our strikers are so versatile. For those making comparisons with Lambert, we're now 3 points ahead of where we were under Lambert after 6 games. Long way to go yet, but looking good so far.

And Lambert's current squad, Aston Villa, are about 6/7 points better off than most pundits would have predicted at the start of the season <ok>
Life in the old dog yet!

The ball was about two feet from the goal and heading in from Grabbans flick when Turner arrived to put it in. It would have been Grabbans goal but for Turners intervention.

I think Tettey was unlucky with that one to be honest, does all the hard work and doesn't even get the assist! Turner just seemed to want that ball in the net more than Grabban, nearly took him out as he bundled through.

Turner could have left it, and it still would have gone in. You seriously can't have a moan at Grabban for not getting that goal. I will however say, eventually Hooper will be in that team and I can't wait, along with Vadis O-O too. Our squad is so strong for this league, it's ridiculous.

I had a couple of quid on Turner to score yesterday at 13/1 so I was well chuffed the big fella nicked it if Grabban <cheers>

Good to see directors give rookie managers a chance instead of going for a recycled coach like Holloway or Warnock.

I could never understand why Cardiff are title favourites either.
