IMO Pardew's not a bad manager - he did quite well with an average group of players with us. IMO it's all the hysteria from fans which is preventing the team from performing. What about that posturing a****ole on u tube who claims to represent the fans when he does his big ego trip - "I'm f***ing sick of f***ing Alan Pardew and I've just about had a - f***ing enough of this .......... blah, blah, blah, ". ¡ qué masturbador! as the Spanish would say. Look at me at all costs. Yukk.

It needs to happen by tomorrow evening or we have to put up with him until next week which will hopefully be the last of him. He has to go soon, it's not even an option anymore.

I'm actually quite depressed about the whole thing. I'll be over there next week, and had planned to go to the matche but I've decided not to bother. (Which is a big thing for me because I don't get many chances for obvious reasons; I just can't stand the thought of shoveling money - however inconsequential - into that mess).

Frankly, whatever the rights and wrongs - mostly wrongs - of the situation, it's beyond salvage now and he ought to just go. **** all chance of that like.

What he did for you is immaterial, we have been **** for months. We are tired of his lies, excuses and constant array of bullshit and he can **** off with my compliments.

    hell no!
Hull City had BOTH of these managers in our first season in the BPL.
Phil Brown is a joke. I wouldn't let him anywhere near your club.
    And as for Dowie?
he didn't do a terrible job but he couldn't save us from relegation.

we (Hull City) are ****ting ourselves incase we lose Steve Bruce. He is the best manager we have ever had.
He got us promoted from the Championship, got us to an FA cup final and got us into Europe.
With him being a Geordie, he supported Newcastle as a kid. If you sack Pardew and came knocking, I am not sure he could resist.... Even tho' he did manage The Black Cats, would you have him?

<laugh> We were not saying we wanted any of these managers. Just naming some likely candidates what with Mike Ashley being in charge of affairs.

As for Steve Bruce - yes, he'd be a definite step up and we could do a lot worse.

We knew this would happen. Not many predicted we'd get something out of the game, but not getting the 3 against Palace, combined with another horrendous deadline day, meant Pardew was in for it. There's no way our players deserve to be on the same park as Southampton's.

The point vs Villa doesn't look too bad, but that Palace draw is all that Pardew has done wrong so far this season.

I'd take Bruce because he's a step up from Pardew.

I really don't want Moyes, mainly because he doesn't have a track record with flair players like Cabella etc and is all about grafters with no end product.

Bruce, Laudrup, Rosler, McClaren (derby play great football, he's good at bringing youngsters through and is a decent manager IMO).

Plenty of good options out there which would all be a step up from Pardew, Carver, Stone etc. I think all of the above would be interested.

EDIT: Colin just tweeted he's been sacked so at least we now know Pardew will be in charge for next week at least <laugh>

The thing is though, if you were Bruce, and you had a supportive chairman who has just backed you strongly over the summer, and, arguably, a better squad (certainly better attacking options, and surely a better defence), why the **** would you want to come here and work under Ashley? I just don't see it.

It's his boyhood club mate which is a very big pull. We're also a much bigger club (off the field) which again would be a telling factor.

Thing is though he's apparently had the chance to manage us before and declined it, and the circumstances were surely far more favourable to him. Regardless of our appeal to him there's no question he'd have a far more difficult job here. He strikes me as a very pragmatic bloke so he'd undoubtedly take that into account.

For the record I'd be very happy to see Bruce come in. Apart from Hoddle and Lennon, and some obvious bottom feeders (Megson, Jewell, Kean, Hockaday, Paul Hart, and so forth), I'd take pretty much any f**er.

Pardew will probably limp on so we wont need to worry if Bruce would join or not.

Boyhood club my arse, Bruce isn't Newcastle at all. Good manager though I'd be happy with him but he's not stupid enough to come

I would have Bruce or McLaren at a drop of a hat.

Now, as we all know that Ashley somehow manages to turn a good opportunity into a real Oh No, What Is the Man Thinking Of moment. So, my virtual tenner is on the reappointment of Keegan*.

(*Note I didn't say that I wanted him, but this is the sort of thing I would expect from a man who will give what we have wanted in the past to torment us)

I think theres a bit too much blame being put on Pardew b he wanted a c/half and a c/forward, what happened the club loaned out the fourth centerhalf and bought a cheepy center forward.he has had the rug ripped out from under him constantly he HAS done a lot wrong and should of gone after the head but situation, but if churchil had been given biplanes instead of spitfires and hurricanes we would all be speeking german. i think its to early in the season to get shot, the 2 center halfs were shocking against southhampton.Give him till december then review
