All Coutinho has done all match is shoot from outside the area, ballooning it most of the time. We have been rubbish today, we should have started with Sterling and taken him off mid second half. At least then we would have had someone on the pitch who could beat a man with the ball.
With Markovich you can see there is something there... just looks a little rusty. Lallana just looked bad. Going to be a bumpy ride to match form and fitness for him.
Completely agree. Didn't learn lessons from this fixture last season. Also wrong time to rest our most in form player.
Gerrard's been anonymous as well. Lucas should have started, with Henderson and Lallana in central midfield, while Markovic behind Sterling and Balotelli would have been better. This is a recurring theme with Rodgers but hopefully we learn from this and stop ****ing about.
This is the type of game Suarez would have made a difference (as opposed to the Citeh loss). Saying that he'd have been suspended anyway so...

Don't be silly - on todays performance we would have beat UTD at least 4-0. We palyed poor, but it's still better than any UTD performance this season..Looking forward to QPR the ****est team in the league (except Utd) giving them a spanking

I thought Coutinho grew into the game and looked like he could open them up in the second half, but Rodgers really needs to tell him that his shooting is s**te and to just pass it instead. Lallana was alright but clearly lacking in fitness. Markovic I'm still not sure on him, doesn't seem to have any end product as of yet. Balotelli was back to his usual lazy self today and we really lacked movement up pitch. Only Henderson came out of that game with any respect imo. His passing range was superb and constantly breaking up the play. The rest were muck.
