How do you see it going? For me we'll see a half empty stadium (literally) passionless day tripping crowd of mutes.

Away from home support maybe a couple of hundred (absolute maximum) of flask carrying tiger travellers at best?

And what happens when they get relegated and the 'it's his club' brigade suddenly lose interest, what type of interest will there be when 'hull tigers' take on Blackpool in the Championship? They'd be better off playing the game at Costello.

'hull tigers' would be on a par with MK Dons, the most universally despised tinpot club in the country.

But it's his Club, as long as it's him making the decisions, it doesn't matter if it's right or wrong decision obviously.

What if the **** really does hit the fan and we get relegated.

Now you don't have the fans you've pissed off/alienated with the name change, and you don't have any premier league fans that just go because we're in the big league.

id probably give up with football and stick to the darts, people will give it the old support your club no matter what line, completely missing the point that Hull City is our club, and once thats gone we would all technically have no club....you can choose to support Hull Tigers but on the same note, you can support Blackburn, Real Madrid, or Liverpool..none of those are Hull City either.

Crowds would be down about 700, 1200 max , the rest would carry on seeing the club go from strength to strength and watch History being made under the Allams

In the short term - if he gets his own way, the rebrand will take, and Hull Tigers would have a diminished, if still decent attendance. And I say that as a staunch #notohulltigers man.

He will get enough people staying for him to say, he was right. The problem is, what happens if we go down? The PL fans will be gone, and the City fans will be gone.

So who does that leave? We were already hitting around 14k at some championship games, and his money won't be much use there now, because of FFP rules.

Considering 3,000 pass holders didn't renew this time without the name change, that might be a tad wide of the mark.

Will the media use 'hull tigers' or will they completely reject the thing? Colin Murray has already said he'll never refer to us as that, Jeff Stelling has called the idea 'gobbledeygook' and 'complete nonsense'

Do they expect the Hull City AFC fans to simply accept the decision? I certainly wouldn't, i'll be as disruptive as is humanly possible...

Plenty of tickets still available for West Ham on Monday, this despite all the new players on show.

I can guarantee the vast majority of season ticket holders in the North Stand would never entertain the idea of attending a 'hull tigers' game.

Like DJ says, for me the temptation would be to **** off football altogether.

That's the sole reason I renewed my pass again this year. A few of my CTWD friends haven't because they CBA with fighting corrupt, moronic owners time after time and the price hike was the last straw. I decided to stay so that there's still opposition in the KC at match-days and away days.

If all CTWD didn't renew, he will have won and have a protest-free match-day experience. Can't be having that now can we.

...and if all else fails I'm pretty certain that some bright spark at the club could always change the name back, especially after AA is no longer with us.

Everything would be fine whilst the club retained it's Premier League Status.

Crowds would be down a few thousand but I guess those numbers would climb slightly as a group of neophyte supporters, all shiny and plastic with their "Hull Tigers" merchandise, would steadily replace those who boycott post-name change.

If Hull Tigers were relegated, that's when the **** hits the fan.

It's debatable whether the FA would change, or be able to change it back. Look at the problems this one has caused, and rules will probably be tightened further in the future.
As for me, that would be it. No more. I very nearly didn't renew this season and only did once I had an assurance from James Mooney that if a new application was made I could have a refund. Just because we are in the premier league doesn't mean I enjoy matchdays more, in fact I'd say it was less enjoyable than many other seasons.

It always makes me laugh when people refer to new fans as 'plastics' etc. Everyone obviously wants the team to be more successful. Everyone wants the team to get more recognition. Everyone would love to see the stadium expanded and the team playing in front of 35,000 fans, after all, other established teams in the prem have attendances like this (provided their ground is big enough). The question is, where does everyone think these people are going to come from? Unless we have a huge rise in birth rate in Hull and get every single child to come to the ground then the rise in attendances are going to come from people who haven't been before

OK so the OLD bastards will be alienated.
suppose he gets his way, and the rebranding goes ahead, we end up in top 5 in 3 years. We will get new fans to replace them.
them new fans will bring their kids and they will grow up with the club.

I wonder how many ArsenalWoolich fans are still around to protest. Sad fact is that most of you will be dead soon.

    But you don't do you?

"personally he should drop the fight for the name, as its doing him or the Club no good"

"today was a massive crash and his words have sadly made things 10 x worse ..."

"I want him to sell now, its nothing to do with the name, its for the good of the Club we all love"

"after the way he came across today, he is not a footballing man, and needs to put his feet up"

"now i feel its gone to far, and he has to sell, and he and the Club can hopefully move on, i think its best all for parties"

"sadly he is not cut out to be a Football Club owner"

These don't sound like words of support to me, you can say you do all you like but these words say you don't support his ownership & leadership.

So by your own rules - "If you dont support Mr Allam or what he is doing, Stop going to the games, easy..." shouldn't you stop going (if you do go or ever have)?

    As you posted this also

"Tomorrow will go down in Hull City History, its going to be a moment to tell the grandchildren, and at the end, everyone will love and respect the Allam Family"

"negotiations for several weeks have finally been concluded it seems, its looks like this is the final hours of the Allam ownership

Tomorrow marks the begining of a new dawn, and awake this sleeping giant, Hull City is going to be big news for generations...Tomorrow we arrive on the big stage

Tonight..enjoy the Hull City you have known all your life, for tomorrow it will never be the same"

"I can see no good come of todays meeting"

I thinks it's fair to say you're just a gormless piece of **** with no other intention than to court attention by pretending to be something you're not. Your ignorance, idiotic & childlike arguments, threads & posts are an embarrassment to yourself.

Funny that there seems to be lots more, very much like you, who have joined the board recently.

    **** off.
