Why is our collective instinct, when we are under pressure, to pass a short ball between 6-7 players? That is exactly when you need something more direct.

9 years of stupid little triangles. wears a bit thin. City hoof the ball down the wing and run on to it ...boom ............goal
That goal is the difference between us and winning the league. City and Chelsea have the luxury of 2 or 3 world class strikers that can bail them out. It doesn't matter if you get outplayed all over the pitch if you have an Aguero/Costa/Falcao/Jovetic/Balotelli/RVP banging in suckerpunch goals like that. With that said, the first 25 mins is the best I've seen us play this season.
We started really well and if Welbeck I had put his chance away it would be a very different game. We've played our best football of the league so far though I think.
Looks like the narrative for the commentators is "Ozil doesn't care"/"is lazy"... is that really what they take away from the game so far?
look at the speed city break at , compared to us.........no pace at all , even the players who HAVE pace , are passing it 4 yards instead of running with it into their box before they get their shape back. Its all too slow.
This is far from City's preferred team too. Players like Lampard and Milner are bench material at best.
And we're losing....Plz for God sakes, for once in your life, stop with the spin jobbery. We have played our best football AND we are losing, **** me, only some Arsenal fans can take a positive spin on that.
