More and more lies from the Allams. What an embarrassing set of pricks.

Really, some on here still support them? Just remember, when the words Hull City are ever used...you who support the Allams, you will know that you are frauds. Those that support our heritage and history will walk tall and proud.

    Allam out.

I'll support Hull City for the full season. If Hull City ceases to exist after November (or whenever the arbitration is settled) its likely I'll support Hull United. With a bit of luck it may even change its name to AFC Hull City.

The club are gonna speak to the FA before proceeding with their next course of legal action which will be in the European business law courts dealing without outdated laws preventing people from growing their business, employing more people etc. Apparently they feel the antiquated FA process falls foul of current legislation..... Watch this space...

I actually they'd think he lied.

I just don't think he has a clue what's going on.

Makes me smile to see the same people call the guy a clueless old fart but yet simultaneously imply he's a lying evil mastermind.

    It Can't be both people.

It'll never get to the European Court.

Allam has a vested interest in City being successful. 5m reasons a year to be exact. He will not do something which could directly damage the club's access to premier league funds.

The FA will not back down - no matter how antiquated their system - they would have to agree they were wrong - this would be a direct challenge to their authority, and they have a sentiment they share with Allam. No one will tell them how to do their business.

To overturn it, he would have to go to the courts - and that's where FIFA are waiting.

    http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/rangers/103811-fifa-warn-scottish-fa-they-must-punish-rangers-for-using-law-courts/

If FIFA can stop governments claiming millions of pounds worth of tax during world cups - they will barely notice us as they swat us aside.

It just seems a strange thing to lie about don't you think?

I have no idea what he'd gain from lying about who he's appealing too.

Well yeh, I just think he's a little bit cornered by everyone at the moment, with so many people throwing random quotes that contradict other random quotes and if you blend his age and struggle with English language you get an incoherent, contradicting, sometimes slightly bad tempered old man who is feeling rather insulted as I doubt he imagined he would get that much backlash.

Yep. But the aim yesterday was only to show he's a man of principle, have I ever said something and gone back on it etc etc.

CAS sounded like he was super serious so he went with that. He actually said at one point he wouldn't go to the FA again, cos he's done with them. Just like the council.

He loves portraying this image of himself but trips himself up constantly. I actually believe him when he says it isn't about money, he's just totally obsessed with pride.

The man is a bully. I haven't had any business dealings with him but I've heard if he doesn't get his way he turns nasty. Of course if you do what he wants he's all smiles. Like all bullies he will say what he thinks will work at the time. He said he'll walk away, which means he'll put the club up for sale. Doesn't mean he intends to sell. He says he'll give the club away which is the same as saying I'll walk away within 24 hours.

He likes media attention, so whenever we have a big game he needs to make a big statement. The run up to Monday should have been about our new signings instead its all about him.

It is all about money. He's lent close to £100 million to Hull City and wants it back. He cannot sustain the spending we've seen over the past 12 months because the transfer instalments and increased wage bill are eating into his future cash flows and profit. The only way he sees getting his money back is to change the name and hope some Asian with more money then sense buys us.

Agree with this. What you've said is how I understand it.

The man is a legend. I haven't actually met him but I've heard that he knows what he's doing, he's doing the very best possible for our club in very trying circumstances, and despite that, he maintains a sense of humour, sadly too subtle for some to grasp.

There's lots of people on these, and other forums, who like attention, so whenever they get the chance, they twist his words and cut out sound bites to suit their own agendas.

It's not about money, its about doing the best for something he feels important, and he wants to leave a positive and lasting legacy for the grateful people of Hull. The evil money grabbing bastard bully.

Why don't you ask the programme sellers on Monday night if they're happy with the alleged changes to their contract?

I'm not sure you can twist his words. He seems to do just fine by himself. Two days post conference, two corrections. Give it until next Thursday, and he'll have been telling us black was white.

And there was me thinking it was him that liked attention, with getting the media in to hear his latest pronouncements.

And always just as we should be starting to look to the next game. The timing cannot be coincidence.
