All this wages lark is pure guesswork. A couple of years ago, I was inspecting a site in Redditch, and tha manager was right pompous git. He asked me what my site visit fee was, and I told him to mind his own business. His reaction was anything more than 30 quid per visit was a waste of money. When I told him I wouldn't get of bed for 30 quid, and try closer to 250 quid, he was gobsmacked.I'ts nowhere near that but the gullible tw"t believed me, so the press are probably trying the same routine.
