I believe should be classed as some form of online terrorist threat to the good name of Hull City AFC. It should all be banned outright and anyone preaching it's hate should be banned from the site. All in the interest of keeping the board flowing smoothly and cutting down the ridiculous amount of pissing contest that seeped all through the board and infected near on every thread. We've already had a year of it, we don't need anymore, and we know that any real hull city fan opposes the name change. Think there would have been more people on board with the name change or not against it if he had gone about it a different way. We have done some research and think changing the name to Hull Tigers might help in the far east etc. Rather than you have to like the name change or else I am leaving
Do tell us mere mortals about this research you have done. No I am not being sarcastic I really am interested, mainly because no one else including Papa Doc has come up with any.
So a quick look at the forum after just 6 hours tells us all we need to know... The vast majority is anti Allam and anti name change as the poll clearly shows. Only new users and non posters voting for Allam or for Hull Tigers, who should be discounted anyway. That's a fair decider to see which side f the argument should be legal on this forum. As I said one quick look at the forum tells us that both sides cannot reside here in harmony. What's the verdict?
Here is my stance. - I want the club to remain Hull City A.F.C and not Hull Tigers or Hull City Tigers. - I want the Allams to stay at the club. They are business geniuses and have given us the best days in over 100 years. . Promotion . Europe . FA Cup Final . Improve infrastructure . Establishing us as a Premiership club . A focus on now and the future . Best squad we have ever had . Best manager we have ever had . Improving training facilities . Astute transfer dealings . Ensure we don't get mugged off in the transfer market . There likely wouldn't be a club if it wasn't from the Allams and if there was it would likely be like - The Allams are PR disasters, bullish, ramble and at time insufferable. - I would like the Allams to own the ground so that they can expand the stadium and regenerate the local area and make much more money on restaurants, bars, cafes, casino, shopping etc etc. - Too many people on this forum are arrogant idiots who conjure images of menthols. AGREE WITH ME OR YOU'RE a c**t, attitude.
Not a lot to argue with in this post. All I'd say is if the good Dr wants to sell up why stand in his way? Not into all this emotional blackmail bull. Passed kc two or three times this afternoon, didn't notice a queue of prospective buyers out there. Hope someone's not painting themselves into another corner.
