OLM. We know you're against the name change etc and you're a member of CTWD. Why do you always slag off Dr Allam despite you saying you and your committee would like Dr Allam to stay? Your happy with the business he does in the transfer window and general running of the club but then you slag him off like hell. Calling someone a liar is slander and as for being a dozy old bastard, just remember what he's achieved in life and pulled off in the transfer window. He's a millionaire, we're not, that makes us dozy bastards doesn't it? How can you expect anyone to take CTWD seriously when it's members are posting s**t like the above? CTWD don't speak on my behalf, I have my own say! I would love to keep Hull City AFC but if we become Hull Tigers, so be it.
CTWD were not the ones that stopped AA from changing the name, it was the FA. When AA bought the club he knew that the FA was the governing body, and the club has to stick by their rules and decisions. It is disrespectful of him to question the FA's authority, knowing full well that they are the governing body.
This is absolutely bang on! Not anti allam, you sound like you are. I dont CTWD seriously since I saw there spokesmen on telly, talking of old dozy bsstards!
Didn't Barcelona question Fifa's authority, knowing full well that they are the ultimate governing body in football. so can we not have the people on high horses about "disrespecting authority", as the CAS is there for a reason, which Barcelona took advantage of (and probably other clubs will use this route - the QPR and fair play fine/may be refused to play in the football league, being one almost certain case). if the CAS rule in favour of Allam, then what is the future of CWTD?
Can't be arsed to read all the threads on today, but I think he CTWD thing has effectively been stopped in its tracks by todays announcements. He's going to appeal the FA decision, but he will lose and in his heart of hearts I think he knows this. There'll be a bit of **** about the lack of Hull City AFC on merchandise, marketing material and when the Allams refer to the club, but they can't actively force through a namechange. If he sells, he's gone - it's over. If he gives the club away, probably meaning to Ehab, then he will not be able to pursue a name change either
Yep , a fans group who only want to keep the only name the club has ever had and have campaigned in a very reasonable way about it all
I really despair that there's so many fans who actively dislike the group who are resisting this guy's crap, and who've done nothing to upset anyone. I have to wonder if there'd be people like this at other clubs. How can anyone want all this bollocks? How can anyone have a problem with what CTWD have done? It's just saddening. If our next owner decides to move us to London or something people will presumably complain about the fans who resist that.
Some people are too desperate- sell your soul for a bit of success. These types believe Allam is some sort of demi god. If this happened in Germany/ Poland/ Spain/ Italy (name a place) or at Liverpool, United, Celtic etc their fans would be kicking off big time.
I supported CTWD, but they should disband when Allam sells the club. I hope the old fool goes, as he's too stubborn to reason with.
June 2015: Club changes name to Hull Tigers June 2020: Club moves to Welton (or even further away from the city boundaries). July 2020: Fans oppose the move saying "Hull have played in Hull for 116 years". A Futurama-esque Allam "Head in a jar" corrects them. After all, Hull Tigers have only played in Hull for 5 years since 2015. August 2020: Allam changes name to Yorkshire Tigers. September 2020: Gets offered sponsorship deal from "Yorkshire Tea". October 2020: Allam changes name again to Yorkshire Yorkshire Tea (FC)
