We're not so much discussing what will happen as what should happen. If there's any justice, you'll be punished. However, this is the corrupt world of football and no doubt 'Arry and Tony will find a way to wriggle out of it.
Out of your selection of "core first team players", there has been a total of 3 starts and 3 substitute appearances, you flipping wally. Our line up against Stoke is likely to be Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Konch Mahrez Drinkwater King Schlupp Nugent Ulloa in age thats; 27 24 30 21 33 22 24 25 20 27 28 Average age of 25.5. You squad from your last PL game was; 01 Green 04 Caulker 06 Hill 14 Isla 05 Ferdinand 07 Phillips 17 Mutch 23 Hoilett 08 Barton 09 Austin 10 Fer Average age of 27.4
Yun will be coming in for Hill, reducing our average to 26.4 Cambiasso hasn't come to Leicester to sit on the bench, so he'll start ahead of Drinkwater who's probably still short on fitness- raising your average to 26.409 Either way, our outfield players are now younger than yours on average- which is where it really matters. When McCarthy ultimately replaces Green there'll be no argument
Not sure I have seen any poster saying it WILL happen.....merely laughing at the suggestion it MIGHT/COULD happen. (lets be honest it would be funny, but like you said never going to happen) Simple as that really.
Anyway back to the topic in question As a Leicester fan I feel I am prepared to accept the small sacrifice of Qpr being demoted and heavily fined for the greater good of the game.
Cmon now Grif...a signing is a signing, you cant pick and choose just to benefit and strengthen your own opinion. What we should just do (if anyone can be bothered) is to look at the average age of the 25 player squads announced. that would be fair
Drinkwater is probably at the same level of fitness as Cambiasso. Both played a full 90 mins (i believe) in an arranged friendly last week to help with their match fitness. I personally think Drinkwater will come in ahead of Cambiasso, unless we play 5 in midfield and Ulloa up top on his own. We shall see.
Love it. You lose an argument and claim victory. You've been listening to 'Arry's interviews too much.
Either way Grifter, hows about we take you up on that bet? Shall we say a tenner to a charity of choice? I'll go with Papworth Hospital as me old man has just been released following a triple bypass. They've done a smashing job. http://www.papworthhospitalcharity.org.uk/get-involved/donate
.?? I'm sure he can't be any older than Ferdinand or Dunne. Plus she he is fit he is just backup unlike your two old men hehe
Am really bored so decided to see who have the oldest players in their squads: According to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ our average age is 26.18 (26 rounded) and for QPR it is 27.76 (28 rounded). Our oldest player is Matthew Upson (35) and youngest that is issued a squad number is Nick Powell (20). For QPR the oldest is a tie between Rio Ferdinand and Clint Hill (both 35) and youngest issued a squad number Steven Caulker (22). What conclusions can we make from this data? Nothing whatsoever except it annoys Queeny and Grifter that we have a younger squad for some reason. Back to boredom -_-
It would have been worse for QPR if we'd omitted Upson, which I'm surprised we didn't do considering his injury. We could have named in the 25 man squad in Feb.
