Exactly, why the hell do we really need all these additional people?

It's not as if Harry is a new young manager and needs assistance. It's an overkill which will sponge money from Tonz.

Yes, indeed - can we still play him when we run out of striker options?

As Reginald Perrin's boss CJ most likely would have said "I did not get where I am today without a bit of Twitter speculation"

    Cloakroom here I come again...

Give Sir Les a job, and then he can look after his aunt, who will be made redundant when we throw Car Giant off our Stadium site
Good plan Tony...I can see what you are doing here

LES Ferdinand has set his sights on managing QPR.

The Rangers hero, affectionately known as Sir Les , has revealed for the first time he wants to return to his old club as number one - but admits he may have to serve his apprenticeship elsewhere before returning to his beloved Loftus Road.

The 43-year-old former England striker from Paddington has also spent a frustrating 14 years-plus since he became Rs’ record transfer sale, praying they would return to the Premiership.

Ferdinand is currently coaching the strikers at Tottenham - but has set his sights higher.

He said: "QPR would be the first club on my list where I would like to become manager. I might have to wait maybe four or five years - or whatever it takes, but it would be a dream job for me.

“From the moment they went down, all I ever wanted was to see them back in the Premier League.

“I know at some stage I will go into management, but at the moment being the strikers’ coach at Tottenham is a great learning curve."

What a great player he was, I recall the first time he really clicked for us was a brace alongside Mark "Radamel" Falco against Chelsea - at the end of the 80s.

Arise Sir Les. More of the "right sort" about the Club.

One for the future but imagine Sir Les as manager with Clint his number two. Wouldn't want to be the wrong sort in that dressing room.

An intriguing role in terms of moving Beard away from the football side. Without any slant on PB (I don't know enough about how the hierarchies work at a football club) I'd guess he's got bigger fish to fry that play to his strengths more (branding, marketing, promotions, corporate stuff and... hopefully... shiny new buildings).

It's also a strange one for Les - it sounds quite removed from the coaching and I wonder how much it helps his managerial ambitions (unless he's had a rethink in the years since the Kilburn's article was written).

    Nothing on the official website.

I'd welcome anybody taking over the Academy if it means we get a QPR youth player into the first team at some stage before I die.
