Rosicky made comments recently that he feels he could have contributed something in the games we have played so far. He sounds slightly irritated with not featuring so far but at the same time goes on to explain he knows it is only the start of the season and hopefully over the full 38 games he will get a chance to be in or around the starting team.

In the past he has made comments about the faith Arsenal have showed in him during his injury problems and he has never come across as the type of player who would cause any problems. But these comments, though calm in nature seemed to suggest he would like to be playing more often and thinks he is maybe better than someone getting into the team ahead of him.

Do you see him getting a lot of game time this season?

He is 33 years old and if he doesn't get much time on the field this year could he be looking for somewhere to play out the end of his career where he knows he will play regularly?

Personally I want to see him given more of a chance than he has had in recent times. I think he is a great asset who really adds something to the team. But with the large number of midfielders on our books, he may get limited chances.

Could that signal the end of his Arsenal career? Or do you think he will stay on and see out his contract?

He signed a contract extension in March and had only very good words to say about Arsenal so I don't think he is unhappy here. I just wonder if a lack of game time at this stage of his career might mean he looks elsewhere?

He is still one of our best players in my opinion.

I think he still has a lot to offer and is one of the experienced heads in the squad.

Do you think he will get enough game time though?

he is not one of our best players. what he is now good at is closing down quickly, but offers far less offensively than he used to. could be a good impact player in certain matches, but i don't see him making as much impact this year as in previous seasons. will be sad, but i expect him to leave at the end of the season.

To be honest, we didn't get the best of him. When he was at his peak, he was out with a long injury for us. He has done well coming back from that, but we could have got so much more out of him. SAying that, he can still offer something for us but it seems that Wenger is looking at other players now, which is understandable.

He's making noises about lack of game time, I can see him being gone on January.
34 next month, likely to fetch a couple of million, but I agree with Lazarus, not sure we ever saw him at his best

I hope we keep a hold of him for depth until the end of the season. But I do think he may well leave at the end of the season.

I really hope that he doesn't leave - I really like him, from his attitude to his his tenacious playing style and I do think he should have been playing already this season. Such a shame that injury robbed him and us of so much of his potential!

In response to some of the above comments, I think that given a decent run in the team Rosicky is one of the most forward-thinking players we have; always looking for a pass to get an attack going.

He's been playing better than ever but Wenger has not been using him enough.

I would be suprised if he stayed after this year. Even though from a fitness perspective he looks good. Probably end up doing a couple more seasons in Germany.

Hope we keep him though. Always been a big fan of little Mozart.

I think Rosicky may have had a couple of more chances this season had we not got some early injuries in games, meaning forced early substitutions. I'm confident that over a long season with our injury record Rosicky will get enough game time and contribute. Although he looks fit i do think if he played every week he would pick up more injuries so if he can start 15-25 games a season and make 10-15 sub appearances then this is enough for him. The season before last he only made 11 starts and 5 sub appearances but he stuck at it and managed to make 25 starts and 14 appearances last season so I think this suggests he is willing to fight for his place in the team. Also if he stays for another season he will be eligible for a testimonial which would be nice to see.
