........ for club and supporters alike 4 home games and an away game we need to be targeting as 3 points, especially after we sleepwalked through QPR. 8 points and progress in the cup would make everyone feel like we're on the right track I'd imagine. H Tottenham A Burnley H Stoke City H Swansea City H Stoke City I'm hoping to be at 3 of those at least including the cup game. Spurs should be a good game with some good football played on both sides.
Hopefully Poyet has had a chance to properly integrate all the new signings fully into the team during the international break, esp Rodwell.
I believe the players have more direct influence than you mate ....... it's not witchcraft, just go there and believe
I like to think so, but the I have a habit of picking games we get hammered in. Bolton 4-1 Aston villa 6-1 etc Fingers crossed though like.
Sunderland will do what none of us expect, Spurs - Win Burnley - Lose Stoke - Lose Swansea - Win Stoke - Draw
I have got our season tickets enabled for the cup game...it would be great to see some of the tens of thousands who were clamouring for cup final tickets last year supporting the team in the early rounds this time..
Safc 3 totts 1 Safc 2 burnley 1 Safc 1 stoke 0 Safc 1 Swansea 0 Safc 2 stoke 1 I've got memories of the wins at Stamford bridge, beating man city, winning at old Trafford for the first time since 68! **** on our day we can do anything!
No points against Spurs, Burnley or Swansea beat Stoke in the league, out of the league cup by Stoke. Another crap run is on the cards. The QPR defeat has been a disaster, like Crystal palace last season, this early season rut is frigging annoying.
Don't be daft, we've got very good squad which till up till now have been knocked with early injuries and new signings who aren't quite fit. Rodwell, Giacc, Jones and Buckley will all get better and better as they edge closer to full fitness and you haven't even given our new signings the chance to make an impact. On the pitch O'Shea has improved, Brown has been solid as ever, Vergini is continuing to adapt well and is a hell of a footballer, Aanholt has hit the ground running, Catts has been solid so has seb, gomez and buckley have both had early impact while wickham has been lively but forced out of position due to injuries. Yes AJ has been quiet and Fletcher has looked disinterested but apart from that we look up for it and confident. Besides which, we're only three games in. I've just realised this post is pointless, you won't engage in conversation, you're more of a statement guy.
