...... who always hung around, with the other lads, when no one wanted to play with him.

No matter how many times you told him to clear off he just hung around thinking he was one of the gang <doh>

"I Want More Goals Than I Scored at Sunderland – Fabio Borini Sets Liverpool Target."

Borini needed 40 games in all competitions for Sunderland to hit ten goals last term. With fierce competition in the Liverpool squad this season, the former Roma man may not receive the same amount of game time over the course of the campaign.

He'll get less games at Liverpool then he got goals at Sunderland.

He might well get more goals at Liverpool than Sunderland. How many more years does he have on his contract there? Haha

Rodgers may as well have said,
"Cheers for cleaning my shoes son, here's a a pack of wine gums .... now go away I have to talk to the big lads."

I'm curious to know when/if a so called professional has done this in the past? Seems bizarre.. Will never forget his goals against the mags though<cheers>

Steve Harper threw away his entire career 'playing for' his home town club ....... never understood that tbh.

"Brave of you to bide your time, all these years, Steve, can I introduce you to Mr Krul."

I know, that makes it even worse.

It's like how Bobby Robson was claimed as a Geordie when he was anything but.

Shat defines a Geordie is open to debate. Novocastrian, neither were.

And he definitely won't get to take pelanties so his task is even harder.
He's been a very silly boy, especially given Rodgers' comments but good luck to him - goals against the Mags and Citeh in the final means he'll be applauded by me if he's on the bin dippers bench when they come to town.

I've got to say, I admire his sheer determination & confidence. He obviously believes that he can & will achieve what he is setting out for himself. From my perspective he's got **** all chance of achieving it but 10 out of 10 for his faith in himself.

I find it difficult to admire a bloke who has just consigned his emerging career to the reserves?

His goals return for us was impressive..... for us.

It wasn't good enough to merit Rodgers at Liverpool wanting him or for that matter, any other top half football club in any European club. If he couldn't attract them to bid for his services after 40 EPL games, 10 goals and a Wembley Final goal then how does he feel his career will blossom playing second team football all season?

I sincerely wish him well with that path but equally hope we have now washed our hands of him. I actually wouldn't want him here now at any price.

I'd hate us to break our transfer record for someone who half the crowd would think is a ****er.

He'd be like Bent in reverse ........ idolised before he came and despised when he arrived.

That may not make sense to you but I'm pissed and it sounds spot on <ok>
