You don't need the still in the last line. The original goes on the beat: some one still loves you. The replacement goes: South hamp ton loves you. Not a bad set of lyrics though. As said before. One doesn't need to reinvent the wheel, or the song, in this case. Looking at those lyrics gives me another song. How about..? All we need is Jack [Cork is all we need] All we need is Jack [Cork is all we need] All we need is Jack Cork Cork is all we need. Dead simple. And if you don't know the tune, then you don't know pop music.
He'll have a crap song to an overused tune like new signings always do. Hasn't Pelle got the old Saganowski, Puncheon etc. Also agree with Fran regarding of seeing how they do, I remeber all the fuss on here last year for a song for Dani and then he got the same as Gaston... ... Actually now their both gone Mane will probably get that chant
Just spotted the fundamental weakness in my Jack Cork song. Every time we end a line with Jack, the opposition crowd shout ****, so probably better to end every line with Cork. I wanted to get Frank and Porteous in there, but what can you do..? It's these crappy songwriters and their restrictive melodies. It'll never get sung anyway. It'll be another rendition of.. there's only one...
Jack Cork, we love you Jack Cork, we do Although you may not always play, we think of you. To the tune of grandma click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9r1cFJZW7E if you dont know the tune.
I still maintain that the reason Osvaldo didn't work out is actually because we couldn't get the Stones song together...
They'll never manage a different time signature - they can't even get the rhythm right for Fonte's song. It should be like this: || (1 "Jo") (+) (2 "se") (+) (3 "Fon") (+) (4 "te") (+) | (1 "Ba") (+) (2 "by") (+) (3) (+) (4) (+) | | (1) (+ "Jo") (2 "se") (+) (3 "Fon") (+) (4 "te") (+) | (1 "Wooa") (+) (2 "ooa") (+) (3 "ooah") (+) (4) (+) ||
That's in the right place! Basically we shouldn't be coming in on the first beat of the bar is what I was trying to show (in an admittedly quite confusing way)
Quote from Daily Mail : Southampton’s £10m deadline day signing of striker Sadio Mané rather went under the radar, what with all the fuss around Radamel Falcao and Danny Welbeck. But the 22-year-old might just turn out to be a significant replacement for the goals lost when Rickie Lambert moved to Liverpool. Mané scored 45 in 87 games for Red Bull Salzburg – and showed he is in form with a strike that sealed Senegal’s shock 2-0 win over seven times African champions Egypt as the African Cup of Nations qualifiers began. Stoke’s Mame Biram Diouf got the first goal.
If you want to get your message to Koeman about bringing Cork on you could use the Four Non Blondes song Whats going on? And I said Hey Hey Heeey Hey Hey Hey I said Hey When's Cork coming on? Not Saints related and I can't remember where I heard it but one chant that made me laugh was He's Fat He's Scouse He's going to rob your house Wayne Rooney Wayne Rooney
