I can't believe how quickly we break players! I'm waiting for Sanchez to have his knee explode like Diaby, or to go MIA for 18 months like Rosicky...

    Suspect we will go 4-2-2-2

    Hart
    Zabaleta Kompany Demichellis Clichy
    Fernando yaya
    Navas Silva
    Aguero Dzeko

Should be a good game,City will be eager to get over the horrible stoke performance
Hope Nasri doesn't get a start,he been clearly effected by the atmosphere whenever he's played at the emirates so hope Navas gets the nod.

I think City are a bit unpredictable at the moment, if Arsenal go at them we can dominate the game and restrict them from dictating. There's always going danger from city as they have quality players, but I reckon we have a really good chance and I'm looking forward to seeing what Welbeck can do in this game.

I'm surprised by how many people are predicting an Arsenal loss, I thought there would be more draws as it's early in the season and both teams will be cautious (even though i predicted a loss for Arsenal). It all depends on who goes for it more, though the edge is with City's superior attack. If City go out and attack, then they will do Arsenal over, as Arsenal are not looking sharp. But City too are getting into form so they may go safety first.

I'm rather concerned that Ozil has not played for Germany.

Mmmm is he carrying a niggle? Could be that they are trying out other players as Ozil is still being eased in?

They came for a draw last season, not sure how they'll approach it this time. Might be a draw but I can't really see us winning

Didn't he pick up a knock against Leicester?

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil will miss Germany's friendly with fellow World Cup finalists Argentina on Wednesday because of an ankle injury.
The 25-year-old picked up the knock in the closing minutes of Arsenal's 1-1 draw at Leicester City last Sunday.

Bingo, you're right. Looks like he picked up a knock and that's why he's out. Whether he'll be back for us is another matter. Has anyone got any news on this?

If not then Wilshere or Cazorla will deputise over him in the centre. Also when is Arteta back, and is Diaby back?

Arteta should be close to returning. Would be good to have him back for this game.

    Flamini has been poor lately.

Is Aguero back for this game. Love watching him playing unless it's against us. Superb little player and would happily switch Sanogo for him :bandit:

If you remember Ozil left the pitch for treatment during the Leicester game and was limping after. For a while it looked like we could finish the game with ten men.

It could be precautionary from Germany. Good for us as it allows Ozil to come back fresh.

I think you've got the starting team spot on oxo. What I'm wondering is who will make the bench?

Subs: ospina, chambers, flamini, wilshere, oxocube, podolski, Sanogo

That means Campbell and rosicky not making the bench. For a game like this I think rosicky will be involved, so who drops from the bench?

Jovetic is a doubt for this game after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty.

Marco Reus has also picked up an injury with Germany and will be out for a month.

All in all it's obviously good news for us, but on the other side of it, it shows how ****ing annoying these internationals are, how many key good players get injured during these useless internationals.
