...... and I failed to get tickets <doh>

This will be a great match to be at and I'm expecting a few goals.

Burnley is an old foe, from the 70/80's, and we always take a good few down there.

There's often been trouble but a fair bit of mutual respect anarl.

I might just turn up, without a ticket, and take me chances like I did at West Brom.

Another cup final, thanks whoever is responsible for giving us all these big away days so early again. Let's see if we can win this one, we need the points just as much as Burnley.

    It's in our hands mate.

We have a better squad & manager as well as a great away following ...... QPR was an avoidable disaster which mustn't be repeated.

There are 3 points waiting for us and we need to pick them up.

Lets face it I would rather be playing these promoted clubs away from home in the second half of the season for a change, I know all the teams have to be played one time home and away, but our fixture LISTS are just that, unballanced, and I am beginning to suspect its not just a coincidence.

No, but it proves my point in a way, all the lower teams away, all the top teams at home first half of the season, gives us a disadvantage in my eyes. I'm probably just an old pessimist with a conspiracy theory or two.:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Cheers Gustav & Joe, I really appreciate your comments ..... they make me more determined to get in to cheer on the lads.

Yes I'm crackers but I've taken a perverse pride in shouting my head off in the 'wrong' section and being abused/moved/stewarded etc.

Until the 5-1 I'd never been in the Sunderland section in 5 visits to the away derby at SJP, ****ing murder that like <laugh>

Our support is class tbh, we owe Burnley one after the last match at their place.

I was there, with tickets, and we barely put up a fight ........ the Burnley pubs were a poor place to be after that match.

I live in Rawtenstall just 6 miles away from Burnley and every time we play them we have a mini bus that goes. Loads of us. Theres Sunderland Blackburn Tottenham Rochdale city and united fans all there for the crack. No bother I even end up calling the bingo numbers in the local club. My best away trip with friends who follow all clubs but as mates go to this match wih me as a Sunderland fan foz they have welcomed me and accepted me as one of their own. Brill it is

Check who the lads have got that day.....

Always remember stan ternents last match in charge for Burnley and at home against us. Him that does the safestyle adverts kept egging the Burnley fans to show their appreciation in the way Sunderland fans were. I was in the Burnley end with my mates as always and they were in awe at how good Sunderland fans were. Mint it was.
