I usually enjoy playing in the rain on Fifa, but if it's going to water log the pitch then that's too much for me to handle.
Whenever I start a PES match and it's raining I invariably inwardly groan. I don't quite know why. It doesn't really affect my ability to beat the opponent and anyway, I'm not getting wet..! When I did play for real I used to hate it for the first 10-20 minutes before I got into the game and forgot about the conditions, so that probably explains it.
With soccerâs premier video game set to be released next month, EA Sports developers are raving about the latest features to make their way to the virtual pitch. EA Sports is set to release the latest edition of the FIFA series, FIFA 15, on Sept. 23, with those in charge of the game promising heaps of improvements and additions. First and foremost, the game promises to fully utilize the capabilities of the latest systems, with Xbox One and Playstation 4 set to get tons of visual improvements, including new emotional displays and stadium interactions, such as a deteriorating field surface and moving crowds. The English Premier League will also be undergoing a special overhaul, with EA including all 20 of the leagueâs stadiums, as well as authentic match presentation and even goal-line technology. In addition to EPL improvements, the game will feature a fully licensed Serie A, as well as a return of the Turkish Süper Lig. Due to licensing disagreements, the game will not include Brazilian domestic leagues, although the national team will be unaffected. As for game play, the company, as always, promises improved artificial intelligence, with this yearâs biggest focus being towards the actions of goalkeepers, who have long been criticized for their in-game performance. In addition to improvements in goal, developers promise better dribbling control, as well as more realistic physical interactions. Finally, several of the gameâs most popular game modes will be receiving improvements as well, with a major focus on career mode, which will now feature new tactics controls, as well as a fully integrated Goal.com Match Day live. The gameâs revolutionary Ultimate Team mode will also see itâs fair share of improvements, with a new loan feature that will allow players to try out the gameâs most expensive players. Ultimate Team will also feature a new concept squad feature, as well as new legends including Carlos Valderrama, Roberto Carlos and Alan Shearer to complement those included in FIFA 14.
Career Mode EA has announced their next FIFA game which is scheduled to be released later this year. They have made many new additions to the career mode and have paid attention to fan concerns as well. The game will be released on September 23rd in the US and on September 26th in the EU. EA had earlier announced that Mario Goetze who scored the winning goal in World Cup 2014 final will be on the cover image of the game. You can check out the career mode details below. Player Growth - FIFA 15 has a more realistic system for player growth and potential. Highly rated older players wonât retire as quickly and high potential players grow faster if you give the opportunity to do so. Global Transfer Network - Improved scouts will now automatically recognize squad weaknesses and suggest replacement players based on the team you want to build. Intuitive Player Search - A new player search screen lets you find players faster and better suited to your team. Player names populate as you search. Storylines and Presentation - Accurate and in-depth analysis around players, team and leagues during the match and throughout the mode as you progress your career.
Anyone got anything about ratings for Saints on FIFA 15? What do we think our new players will be rated as?
I think , for first team , ratings will be like Forster 76 Clyne 75 Fonte 73 Alderweireld 79 Bertrand 74 Wanyama 76 Morgan 79 Davis 75 Tadic 80 Pelle 79 Long 75 K.davis 70 Yoshida 72 Gardos 74 Jwp 73 Cork 73 Mane 72 Jay 77
I agree with most of these rating except Fonte, as he is at 75 at the moment so can't see him going down by 2.. but they may lower him by 1 to make him a high rated silver player on ultimate team.
Can't see Cork or Fonte going down from last year and I think JWP will have grown by 1 or 2. Otherwise probably spot on.
Ah fair enough if that's the case. I don't have online right now so have been playing with original ratings, which are pretty poor for some players. Like 69 jay rod.
I'm rather looking forward to FM15 - we should have this squad plus a ****load of cash to buy a ridiculous striker at the start of the game...
Taking FIFA 14 back to CEX today for a trade-in. The bullshit has just got out of control, getting demolished even in division 4 after three back to back relegations. I can't score, I can't pass more than three times without giving the ball away, if I do have a good game the opposition keeper plays like a Superman / Spiderman hybrid and saves all 16 of my shots on target. It just takes the piss.
Happened with me but if you take a break from it for a while and go back to it next week or something, your luck may change.
The last time I checked I hadn't won in 12 games (about 4 draws and 8 losses) and there wasn't a single thing I could action to stop this happening. People who haven't experienced this before may say I'm imagining it and maybe I'm just **** at the game but I had been in division 1 for a good while and I got to within a point of a title. I had 21 shots in some games and would lose 1 or 2-0 but my opponents would score the scrappiest goals imaginable. I haven't enjoyed it for ages and it never seems a level playing field any more. Opponents dancing from defence to attack with one-touches and your first pass goes a yard behind the intended target and straight out. It's like my players are playing under water, it's just not true. Saving myself any more agro and if I get £10-15 about then it can go towards 15.
Fair enough , besides they will shut the servers down soon. What i find most annoying is that in the last 5 minutes of each half, the players stats are greatly increased so there are more last minute goals.
That kills me! I go from winning a game to draw, or drawing a game to lose and the time of the goals is a joke. I lost 2-1 the last game I played despite having five times as many shots and the time of his goals was 45' and 90'. I'm broken lol
I have a PS4 and with the controllers being so expensive , I have to really resist the urge to hurl it across the room when those last minute goals go in. Sadly I don't think Fifa will ever change it though.
- Kick off glitch is still there. - Headers are still OP. - The chip ball still makes your defence go crazy.
